given the incomplete and rather slipshod nature of this page, it is ironic that this film has such a fanatical following and yet no one able to actually complete this page.  (and no, I don't own this film so I can't screencap it and ID the characters correctly). ‘Battle Royale’ was a controversial 1999 Japanese novel by Koushun Takami. It was later adapted into a live action film - Battle Royale (2000). Takami later published a 3,000 page illustrated manga version of the story. It has a sequel: Battle Royale II: Requiem.
