The Rat Patrol was a World War II action series that aired on ABC from 1966 to 1968. The series mostly revolved around a four man team of Allied troops (three Americans and one British) who traveled in two armed jeeps while harassing the German army in the deserts of North Africa during the conflict. The first season of the series was filmed in Spain and utilized the resources of the Spanish Army (much of which would later be seen in the film Patton). The second season was filmed in California.
