Ive looked for info and couldn't find it, but the pistol is a 7 yard gun, remember that. The guttersnipe sights are for fast close range shooting, not precision.

Isn't that the normal shooting distance for self defence?--FIVETWOSEVEN 19:28, 16 November 2010 (UTC)
Yep, but if you ever need to make s precise shot (bad guy holding hostage, etc) this is not the gun. Or if you need to go for the head (perp in body armor) this isnt either. But those situations wouldnt happen to most people. I just prefer 3 dot sights.
Still doable with that kind of sight.--FIVETWOSEVEN 20:07, 16 November 2010 (UTC)
Theres a reason nobody uses them though, its a novelty gun, cool for sure.
The Military uses/used them and on the civilian market there are barely any ASPs on the market.--FIVETWOSEVEN 01:57, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
Limited use by covert operatives in the past, thats it, how many companies do you see with gutttersnipe sights now?
Just because they aren't used by other guns is people are used to conventional sights. Just because its not used doesn't mean its bad. Shotguns usually have one bead for aiming yet people do just fine with them.--FIVETWOSEVEN 20:16, 17 November 2010 (UTC)

Cut and Paste summaries

You shouldn't cut and paste whole series of paragraphs from other sites. That's a clear and obvious copyright violation. Whoever created this page should have written an original summary themselves. MoviePropMaster2008 19:30, 26 September 2009 (UTC)

Who makes the ASP 2000?
