Charlie Wade's ([[Kris Kristofferson]]) revolver might be described as a Colt Peacemaker, but the size of the frame is bigger than a Colt. Plus the front Patridge sight is very distinct. I also thought that the revolver was a Blackhawk at first, but now I think it is a Colt New Frontier: The gun used by Kristofferson seems to have a case-hardened frame, while the Ruger Blackhawk has always used a blued frame. Also, if you look closely at the first vidcap, you'll note that the revolver has a hammer-mounted firing pin, and I think that even the old model Blackhawks had a separated, frame-mounted firing pin. | |||

Charlie Wade's revolver
Charlie Wade's (Kris Kristofferson) revolver might be described as a Colt Peacemaker, but the size of the frame is bigger than a Colt. Plus the front Patridge sight is very distinct.
