Note: The games "Desperados: Wanted Dead Or Alive", "Desperados 2: Cooper's Revenge" and "Desperados 3: Helldorado" all use the same weapons. The same 3D models are used in "Desperados 2" and "Desperados 3", which is why I used some "Desperados 3" wallpapers and screenshots.

Desperados 2: Cooper's Revenge (2006)

Desperados 2: Cooper's Revenge is the second game in the Desperados series as well as it's standalone expansion Helldorado, Helldorado was supposed to be released as a standalone expansion called: Desperados 2: Conspiracy but issues with the previous publisher forcing them to finish 2 unpaid for several months resulted in them changing publisher, losing the ability to use the Desperados name.

While generally highly similar, Helldorado makes subtle but noteworthy changes to D2's gameplay, such as speeding up certain animations and fixing animation errors as well as making it so the game can be paused when assigning quick-actions.

In both games, all firearms use generic "Colt Ammo" that is also dropped by enemies when killed/knocked out, the only exception is Doc's Buntline needing special ammo for sniping.

The following weapons were used in the game "Desperados 2: Cooper's Revenge and it's standalone expansion, Helldorado":

Remington 1858 New Army

The Remington 1858 New Army, converted to fire cartridges, is a primary handgun of "Desperados" games. It is used by most enemies and by John Cooper and Doc McCoy. One accurate shot will always kill an enemy.

Doc's Long Barreled Remington 1858

Doc McCoy uses the modified Remington 1858 New Army with long barrel. It also can be used with an optical sight and stock. Doc fires much slower than Cooper (Doc cocks the hammer with his thumb, while Cooper uses his left hand).

While using it with optics and stock, Doc also using special "sniper" ammunition.

Winchester Model 1873

The Winchester rifle in game look very similar to the Winchester Model 1873. It's using by many enemies and by Sam Williams. In Sam's hand it's not very good weapon: it's weak, have a handgun range of fire and very seldom killing enemy with one hit (even in head!). It's useful only in close range, so it must be done like a shotgun, not a rifle.

Kate's W. W. Marston Three-Barrel Derringer

Kate O'Hara uses W. W. Marston Three-Barrel Derringer, patented 1857 and improved 1864. The pistol is very weak and you can kill only one enemy without reloading. But this is a self-defence weapon, using by Kate when her tricks fail. In Desperados 2, the Derringer is pointed upwards towards the sky when held by Kate but Helldorado fixes this goof.

Two wallpapers contain weapons which aren't present in game:

Here too we can see the Colt SAA and a Remington 1866 Derringer, instead of three-barreled derringer which is used by Kate in game.
