Jeremiah Johnson is a 1972 western / adventure film starring Robert Redford as the title character, a Mexican-American War veteran who leaves society and heads up to the Rocky Mountains to live the life of a mountain man. Jeremiah goes from green horn to mythical figure while on his trek.
