I'm drawing a blank here I'll have to do some serious google whacking as there arn't that many production bullpup sniper rifles. I have only watched half of the movie and the "mauser" is in every scene a Mosin Nagant 91/30. Including the scene where he pics up the rifle and makes the silly comment. Please make a note of this. BR FG
Further more, the scope looks to be a PEM scope, not a PU, as it is too big and resembles the German scope from which it was copied. Pyrewyrm
The bullpup sniper that the enemy has seems to be a Mosin Nagant that has been "bullpuped". BR FG
:Ok, here's what I got. The armorer that worked on this movie is Béla Gajdos, he doesn't have a website but since that's a Hungarian name and this movie was filmed in Hungary it's likely that he's Hungarian and therefor has mostly Hungarian weapons. And it turns out that Hungary actually produces bullpup sniper rifles: [http://weaponland.ru/_ph/7/2/192573472.jpg]. But there's one problem; none of the rifles look like the one used in this movie. My guess is that Béla built a custom shell around a Gepard rifle. But I'm in no way certain. -[[User:Deafmatch|Deafmatch]] 15:57, 25 February 2011 (UTC) |
