Gremlins 2: The New Batch is the 1990 sequel to Gremlins. Joe Dante returns as director for the second film, which finds Billy (Zach Galligan) and Kate (Phoebe Cates) along with Gizmo moving to New York and working for a billionaire in his state of the art business tower. Gizmo then finds himself the subject of experiments in the tower, spawning several new types of Gremlins. The film's cast includes John Glover, Christopher Lee, and Robert Prosky in addition to Dante regulars Rick Ducommun, Robert Picardo, Kathleen Freeman, Kenneth Tobey, and Dick Miller.

The Brain Gremlin is seen taking out what appears to be a 4" Smith & Wesson Model 65 revolver to use on the Beanie Gremlin who interrupted an interview. Judging from the size of the gremlin, this is likely a prop replica.
