I love this movie...I want a Hannie Caulder Tattoo on my ribs. This movie actually teaches alot about quick shooting.--Spades of Columbia 20:51, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
The lovely Raquel
Why isn't this screencap on the page? It gives a great look at the revolver. --Jcordell 03:07, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
- Uh, yeah, the revolver... --funkychinaman 03:18, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
- There's a revolver?????????? MoviePropMaster2008 08:20, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
- Only part of the image made it on the page? Why crop it? It's not like she's showing anything. It's totally SFW. --funkychinaman 15:30, 29 July 2010 (UTC)

This is the picture I have as a wallpaper on the blackberry and the home computer, so sexy...once i find a good enough artist this is the one going on the ribs...What a cool ass movie!--Spades of Columbia 14:35, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
Missing Guns
Hannie's husband has a lever action and Price has his own revolver, any pictures or info.--Spades of Columbia 16:01, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
I recall one of the bad guys using a Remington 1875. --Jcordell 19:42, 1 August 2010 (UTC)
Price has a break-top revolver and Jim Caulder has what looks like a winchester .45cal carbine with a side saddle loop.--Spades of Columbia 18:02, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
Raquel's Revolver
It's a dual trigger Tranter percussion revolver - the lower trigger cocks it and the upper one fires it. GM45 was right about the function, just not the make. Adams never made dual-trigger revolvers. Sorry for deleting all the talk but I figured since I knew what it was I'd clean it up.
Also, Raquel Welch may just be the hottest woman ever in film. - Nyles
Yes indeed. Almost enough to make one forget about the revolver. Also I know why I was thinking Adams. Because Robert Culp's character uses an Adams. --Jcordell 19:43, 1 August 2010 (UTC)
- The only reason I pegged it as a Tranter was the double trigger. A DAO percussion Tranter looks almost identical to a Deane, Adams and Deane 1851 (which was also my first thought). Nyles
It's a strange movie. The bad guys are really disgusting, but they're played for laughs. It's a grim movie, but it has humor. It's actually one of the more memorable westerns made over the past fifty years. I guess it's become a cult classic. One of us needs to buy or rent a copy and add to the page.If not me then somebody else. --Jcordell 23:50, 1 August 2010 (UTC)
I'm planning on renting it (as soon as Netflix will actually ship it -- it's Very Long Wait right now) so I can add more screenshots. Thanks for all the help identifying the pistol, guys. -- Blokhed, 8/2/10
Looking closer at the Tranter, is that trigger guard spur actually the second trigger? Bizarre! -- Blokhed
I think I can speak for all us us when I say glad to help. But when you do screencap it please keep the promo photo of Raquel in her poncho with revolver. Please. --Jcordell 18:38, 2 August 2010 (UTC)

Robert Culp's revolver
It's actually a Smith & Wesson New Model No.3, not a Schofield. - Nyles
Absolutely right. It seems to be the same revolver used by Robert Culp in the TV series "Trackdown ". If you look carefully , the hammer spur has been extended , to allow for easier cocking , close to "fanning " a Colt SAA .
" Fanning " a NM#3 is difficult , because the trigger has to be released in order to cock and turn the cylinder.
The revolver in "trackdown" has the same extended hammer spur . Pecos pest
