The "stunt" picture of the pistol was used in the Stargate TV show as one of the main side arms of the Genii. It had the rounded trigger guard, so the hero guns were probably made with beretta 92SB's.
 
In the episode "Dark Matters", of the first season of "The New Outer Limits", the Desert Eagle was used as a LASER gun.  The show also used the "Timecop" pistols also.  --[[User:Krel|Krel]] ([[User talk:Krel|talk]]) 21:25, 30 January 2015 (EST)
