Evelyn Salt ([[Angelina Jolie]]) uses a [[SIG-Sauer P229]] notably at the President’s Emergency Operations Center (PEOC), when she confronts CIA officer Ted Winter ([[Liev Schreiber]]). The P229 is also used by both Winter and Agent Darryl Peabody ([[Chiwetel Ejiofor]]).

== | TRIVIA: During the filming of the final battle sequence between Salt and Winter, Jolie sustained a minor injury on the set and had to be rushed to the hospital. The crew continued filming POV shots until she returned. The on-set armorer stood in for Jolie in several shots to help Liev Schreiber establish a realistic line of sight and also fired the SIG 229 in an additional scene where the gun had to be fired to create a muzzle flash at the edge of the camera frame.

The gun appears again on the bed of her hotel room when she colors her hair to change her appearance, and also during the sequence that takes place in the crypt underneath St. Bart’s cathedral in New York when she goes after the President of Russia. Scenes from the sequence are also featured in two of the official studio trailers for the film.

Handguns
SIG-Sauer P229
Evelyn Salt (Angelina Jolie) uses a SIG-Sauer P229 notably at the President’s Emergency Operations Center (PEOC), when she confronts CIA officer Ted Winter (Liev Schreiber). The P229 is also used by both Winter and Agent Darryl Peabody (Chiwetel Ejiofor).
TRIVIA: During the filming of the final battle sequence between Salt and Winter, Jolie sustained a minor injury on the set and had to be rushed to the hospital.
Beretta 92F
Evelyn Salt (Angelina Jolie) uses a Beretta 92F pistol in the pivotal sequence aboard the Russian barge when she meets with Orlov (Daniel Olbrychski) and his group of Russian “Program KA” agents.
Glock 19
A Glock 19 pistol is seen in the holster of a US Army MP during the prisoner release in North Korea. Evelyn Salt (Angelina Jolie) uses the Glock 19 pistol in two scenes, notably when underneath St. Bart’s cathedral in New York to shoot the cathedral organ. A Glock 19 is also used by Shnaider (Corey Stoll) during the attack at the White House.
SIG-Sauer P232
The SIG-Sauer P232 pistol first appears onscreen when Evelyn Salt (Angelina Jolie) returns home and retrieves it from its hiding place underneath a table in her apartment.
Smith & Wesson M&P Compact
Evelyn Salt (Angelina Jolie) removes a Smith & Wesson M&P Compact in her hotel room along with the SIG-Sauer P232 handgun from her apartment. It is also used in the extended cut to kill Orlov (Daniel Olbrychski).
Custom M1911
A custom M1911-type handgun with adjustable sights is pulled by a Russian guard at the barge.
Shotguns
Mossberg 500 Homeland Defender
The CIA security officer (Peter Weireter) uses a Mossberg 500 Homeland Defender shotgun fitted with a door breacher and pistol grip to blow open the lock on Salt's apartment door.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
A CIA officer is seen with a Heckler & Koch MP5A3 fitted with Surefire 628 dedicated forend weaponlight during the assault on Salt's apartment. Some NYPD ESU officers are also seen with this weapon. Salt also uses an MP5A3 (with no Surefire forend) aboard the Russian barge when she meets with Orlov (Daniel Olbrychski) and his group of Russian “Program KA” agents.
MP-10
The MP-10 with stocks are seen in the hands of CIA security officers, notably when going to Salt's apartment and when Salt is trapped briefly before she jumps onto a truck.
Heckler & Koch MP5K / SP89
Secret Service agents at the White House are armed with Heckler & Koch MP5K submachine guns during the attack on the White House. Ted Winter (Liev Schreiber) uses a Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDW while inside the President’s Emergency Operations Center (PEOC). At one point, the MP5K becomes a replica version of a Heckler & Koch SP89 that Winter throws away while in the PEOC.
Rifles
M4A1 Carbine
There are several M4A1 Carbines seen in the hands of US Army soldiers, CIA agents and NYPD ESU officers throughout the film.
Colt Model 933
Several CIA tactical unit members can be seen with Colt Model 933s, distinguished from the aforementioned M4A1s by their shorter barrels. Secret Service CAT members are also seen using 933s at the Vice President's funeral.
Heckler & Koch G36C
One of the guards aboard the Russian barge is armed with the Heckler & Koch G36C.
AK-74M
A guard at the barge is seen with an AK-74M when Salt arrives with Vassily Orlov (Daniel Olbrychski).

Another Russian guard on the barge has what appears to be a Type 56 assault rifle with an under-folding stock. Type 56 rifles are also seen slung over the shoulders of North Korean soldiers at the film's beginning.
AK-47
The young KA recruits are seen training with what appear to be paper cutouts of the AK-47.
SIG P556 SWAT / SG 550 hybrid
Evelyn Salt (Angelina Jolie) takes a SIG P556 SWAT fitted with a SIG SG 550 series lower receiver belonging to a Uniformed Secret Service agent and uses it in the President’s Emergency Operations Center (PEOC). She uses the weapon with both folded and extended stock positions and notably is seen attaching four magazines together. A rubber prop version was used when a live-firing weapon was not needed. The upper receiver of the rifle can be identified as belonging to a P556 by its black finish (as opposed to the gray finish found on SG 550 series lower receiver), M16-style flash-hider, angled front sight, and the indent in the side of the receiver just ahead of the ejection port.
SIG SG 551
A SIG SG 551 is seen in the hands of a Russian guard on the barge.
M16A2
South Korean MPs are seen with M16A2 rifles slung.
