Does anybody know what brand of holster Craven uses for his G23?  I've looked around on the internet at the different types of paddle holsters and haven't had much luck in identifying it.
Looks like they put the paddle from a Fobus and perhaps a Bianci holster together. It doesn't look like any type of holster I've ever seen. Could have been constructed for the movie. --[[User:Jcordell|Jcordell]] 23:34, 29 October 2010 (UTC)
looks like a Galco leather speed paddle holster to me.  the color of leather looks more like galco leather then the shade that bianchi uses.--[[User:Spades of Columbia|Spades of Columbia]] 23:45, 29 October 2010 (UTC)

It seems like its been a while since Mel Gibson has done anything. I don't think I have seen him in any new film since Signs. -Anonymous

Yeah no kidding, has anyone noticed the way he holds his Glock by holding his firing hand by the wrist with his other? I never really understood the concept of this shooting style/technique.--ThePotShot 18:10, 23 January 2010 (UTC)
In a recent trailer you can see he holds his gun in a nice weaver grip at times. I never understood it either, it doesn't provide any real support.--Pølaris 00:44, 27 January 2010 (UTC)
It's all about what works for him. Any grip that enables one to shoot acurately and control the weapon is a proper grip. -Anonymous

Removed a comment that had nothing to do with this site. Gunner313

I also removed an unneeded spoiler. -Winn

The Glock

Are we sure that Mel Gibson's Glock is a G19? In the first image, the grip looks a bit too long to be a G19. More like a -17. And yes, I know that the G19 is what the NYPD uses in real life, but this is a movie. -MT2008 15:54, 29 January 2010 (UTC)

Furthermore, Gibson's character is a member of the Boston PD, so it doesn't matter what the NYPD uses anyway. -Gunman69 04:39, 2 February 2010 (UTC)

I just watched this film and i thought it was pretty damn good welcome back riggs. The last shot on the page isn't ray winstons character its danny huston's and im fairly sure he was using either a 1911 type or a smith and wesson, cant check now tho, sorry--Captain Snikt 03:52, 2 February 2010 (UTC)

just saw this last night, his Glock is def a Glock 19. While it doesn't look like it, the last screencap is a SIG-Sauer P220R pistol.--Pølaris 18:19, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

Just FYI, the real life issue weapon for officers and detectives in the BPD is the Glock 23, which is the .40 caliber brother to the 19. I'm not saying that it's definitely the 23 b/c I'm not nearly good enough at looking at the bore. However, as we never get a good look at the left side of the weapon, it could be either. Correct me if I'm wrong

According to the folks who actually work in the movie industry most times if it's a Glock it's probably a G17/19/17L/26/34. The 9mm seems to be very popular with movie gun folks. So I would asume (based on the info) that it's a G19. Perhaps it's filling in as a G23? --Jcordell 15:02, 30 June 2010 (UTC)

Springfield Champion

It's not a Champion, it's an Ultra Compact. Read the slide. --Yournamehere 10:21, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
