The '''ZU-23-2''', also known as ZU-23, is a Soviet towed 23 mm anti-aircraft twin autocannon. ZU stands for Zenitnaya Ustanovka - anti-aircraft mount. The weapons are also seen quad-mounted in the ZSU-23-4 Shilka self-propelled anti-aircraft gun (though some western films will use various machine guns such as the [[Browning M2]] to stand in for these weapons, while some museum piece ZSUs are known to have painted broomsticks as guns). | |||
