Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian is the 2009 sequel to 2006's Night at the Museum. Ben Stiller returns as Larry, who encounters more fantastic adventures in the Smithsonian Institution in Washington D.C. Returning as director is Shawn Levy and the cast also includes Amy Adams and returning stars Owen Wilson and Robin Williams. Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb, the third and final film in the series, was released in 2014.
The following weapons were used in the film Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian:
Colt 1860 Army
General George Armstrong Custer (Bill Hader) and Teddy Roosevelt (Robin Williams) carry holstered Colt 1860 Armys as indicated by their holsters.
Smith & Wesson Schofield
Like the first film, Jedidiah (Owen Wilson) carries two holstered Smith & Wesson Schofields and is seen drawing them out when he covers Octavian's escape.
M1921 Thompson
Al Capone (Jon Bernthal) and several black and white gangsters are seen with M1921 Thompsons.
In a deleted scene, Al Capone is seen pretending to fire his M1921 Thompson with poor sound effects since that ammunition were never part of museum props. He then explains to Napoleon and Ivan The Terrible that each time he makes a sound is a bullet.
Charleville Model 1777 Cavalry Carbine
Napoleon's men carry Model 1777 Cavalry Carbines when they capture Larry (Ben Stiller) for his tablet.
