Yep I think it probably is an Arminius. Evidently whne the German firm started making revolvers in 1960 they might have purchased the design from Hi-Standard. The Sentinel was introduced in the mid-fifties. But the model Martin Sheen is using appears to be a heavier design then a 22 revolver. --[[User:Jcordell|Jcordell]] 19:55, 3 May 2010 (UTC)

Kit's gun isn't a smith. I don't know the exact name of the company, but it's built on the same style of frame/trigger/hammer/grip as a Hi-Standard Sentinel Revolver (22 LR), but it's in 38 caliber. They were sold at sears, ace hardware, and had several different names. They came with darker grips, and this style which was a bit more orange. The trigger well is a giveaway, the way the frame curves under the barrel, and also the bright steel hammer and trigger combo.

Arminius Revolvers

Yep I think it probably is an Arminius. Evidently when the German firm started making revolvers in 1960 they might have purchased the design from Hi-Standard. The Sentinel was introduced in the mid-fifties.I don't know how else to explain the remarkable similarities. But the model Martin Sheen is using appears to be a heavier design then a 22 revolver. See Arminius HW-9ST and FIE Titan Tiger‎ for additional information. --Jcordell 19:55, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
