For some reason the wikipedia article on this weapon only lists it as comming chambered in .32S&W, .38S&W, .32 Long Colt, and .38 Long Colt, not .38 special. Is Wikipedia wrong or are the weapons pictured on the main page rechambered for .38 special?

The .38 Special version of the Police Positive was the Police Positive Special, which had a slightly longer frame and cylinder - it was also available in .32-20. Colt differentiates between the two, IMFDB hasn't - too hard to tell the difference. -Nyles

There is size difference for one. The CPP is much smaller than the OP. I will try to photograph the two handguns on the same table for a scale comparison image soon. :D MoviePropMaster2008 (talk) 00:06, 14 February 2013 (EST)

Fourth Issue photos

Do we have any photos of the Fourth Issue, which was modified with a heavy barrel with ejector shroud similar to the Trooper Mk III? This is, after all, the version made through 1995 --Maxman (talk) 08:57, 9 February 2020 (EST)
