Kip Niven was a a native of Kansas and a graduate of Kansas University (Class of 1968) where he majored in theater arts. After Niven graduated KU in 1968, he served three years in the Army, including a tour in Vietnam as a lieutenant in the field artillery. After the Army he went on to have a life-long year career in film, television and the stage. Among the many television and movie productions he appeared in were ''[[Earthquake]]'', ''[[Magnum Force]]'', ''[[Damnation Alley]]'', ''[[T.J. Hooker]]'' and ''[[Law & Order]]''. Kip Niven was a a native of Kansas and a graduate of Kansas University (Class of 1968) where he majored in theater arts.
