Passenger 57 is a 1992 action film directed by Kevin Hooks and starring Wesley Snipes as John Cutter, a former US Secret Service agent now working as an airline security consultant who finds himself a passenger on the same airliner that's transporting a notorious terrorist. When criminals seize control of the plane, Cutter is the only one who can stop them. The cast included Alex Datcher, Elizabeth Hurley, Ernie Lively, and Bruce Payne. Much as Under Siege was pitched as Die Hard on a boat, this film was pitched as Die Hard on a plane.
