The German crew use possibly German-made bolt-action rifles, which the British sailors adopt after commandeering the German sub and winding up on the lost island of Caprona.

This large gun is mounted on the German submarine and is used at one point to blow a couple of styracosaurs (who in truth were just minding their own business) to kingdom come.
All but the deck gun pic are on the main page. As far as the MP-18, the setting of this movie is 1916 or the first 3 months of 1917 as America is still "neutral". Use of the MP-18 would be anachronistic. It's also unlikely the sub would have the long barreled 'artillery' version of the P.08 rather than the 6" navy version.

'''Webley revolver'''? Aren't there one or two of these brandished by the naval personnel from the lifeboat when they first board the submarine? IKD
