Torkarev Look-alike

After the horse race at Zorin's estate Bond is captured and held at bay by one of Zorin's men with what looks like a Tokarev TT-33 variant. See:

Since it has a safety-catch I would say it's a Norinco Model 213 but I am not 100% sure because of the form of the hand-grip.

Theres a picture on the Tokarev TT-33 page showing a gun called a Tokagypt Model 58, it has a similiar grip to the one in the picture, i'll put the image below for reference. --FirearmsNewbie 09:29, 31 December 2010 (UTC)

I think it's a Colt 1903. Dolph Lundgren has the same gun in the stadium scene, earlier.

How is this a science fiction movie?

I believe because of how the main villain wants to destroy San Francisco with a man-made earthquake. Orca1 9904 01:00, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
And that's different from all of the other 'evil villain wants to take over the world' scenarios from the other films .. how? ") MoviePropMaster2008 01:13, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
Not all of them are pure science-fiction. For example, the films GoldenEye and The World Is Not Enough use existing (or at least scientifically proven possible) technologies as the main plot devices. Orca1 9904 01:23, 20 November 2009 (UTC)

Your Dislikes to this Bond film

Don't get me wrong I am a huge James Bond fan, but I really hated this movie and I will tell you my 7 main reasons.

1. Roger Moore is very close to 60 in this movie.

2. I really liked Max Zorin as a villian as well as his henchwomen, but his henchmen are so boring.

3. Good Paris chase scene, but very stupid San Fransico car chase.

4. No gunfights between Bond and Zorin or his men what so ever.

5. Zorin going on a killing spree is SO UNBOND!

6. Not enough seriousness. &

7. Some of the action and San Fransico scenes could have been better.

These are my 7 main reasons for hating this Bond film. What are yours??? User 60.241.135.241

The fact that geriatric James Bond had a love scene with a man in this film. (Maybe his eyes were going.) And the fact that the plot is basically a rehash of Goldfinger. But the song was excellent. --Funkychinaman 22:38, 12 March 2010 (UTC)

I would not call Grace Jones ugly, but I surely did not find her attractive in the traditional sense. She WAS however, fascinating looking. Even though it was a lame film, seeing her in Conan the Destroyer was pretty interesting. She's the closest human equivalent to a black panther (the ANIMAL, not the controversial political group) that can be possible. I would call her 'cool' looking, like a really interesting cyborg, or car, or sword. But I never found her attractive in the 'feminine sense' but she definitely was a work of art.
