9th Company: Roots of Terror is a 2008 action-oriented real-time strategy game based on the 2005 Russian film The 9th Company. The game, just like the film, loosely follows actual events that took place on Hill 3234 during Operation Magistral, in the Soviet-Afghan war. The game displays footage from the film and features playable characters from the film as well.

The following weapons appear in the video game 9th Company: Roots of Terror:

It features an adjustable rear sight, not seen on the military Makarov pistol. Also the finish is inferior to the original Makarov PM. In-game, this can be appreciated when looking at the HUD icon of the Makarov PM.
