Boyz n the Hood is a 1991 drama about a young boy named Tre Styles who resides in a downtrodden neighborhood in South Central Los Angeles. As he grows into a young man, the teenage Tre (Cuba Gooding Jr.) has sights on being a responsible individual and making his own way out of the 'hood'.
