Later, during the action sequence at the Bexhill refugee camp, a female 'Fish' is also seen with an M4. While it would be more likely in reality for the gun to be a Diemaco C8A1 Carbine, Colt Canada did not sell to civilian companies (including film armorers) at the time this film was made, so it would be impossible to use one in the film. Another M4A1 carbine, equipped with an M203 grenade launcher, tactical light, and an AN/PEQ-2 IR designator, is used by Luke ([[Chiwetel Ejiofor]]) when his forces arrive at the Bexhill refugee camp.

British Army soldiers throughout the film use [[SA80#L85A1|L85A1]] rifles (identified by their round charging handles). They are fitted with SUSAT scopes, however, on closer examination, they are actually of Swedish rather than British origin based on the different designs of their mounting base. They are most prominently seen when the military invades the Bexhill refugee camp.

M4A1 Carbine

An M4A1 Carbine, fitted with an Elcan optical sight, is first seen in the hands of a 'Fish' gunman when Theo Faron (Clive Owen) is kidnapped by the resistance group. Another M4A1 carbine, equipped with an M203 grenade launcher, tactical light, and an AN/PEQ-2 IR designator, is used by Luke (Chiwetel Ejiofor) when his forces arrive at the Bexhill refugee camp.

Kalashnikov Variants

Two types of Kalashnikov rifles appear in the film. Modernized versions with plastic furniture are used by Tomasz (Jacek Koman) and Sirdjan (Faruk Pruti), while older versions with wooden stocks are seen in the hands of refugees throughout the film.

Heckler & Koch G36

At the Bexhill refugee camp, one of the resistance fighters carries a G36C which he fires at approaching British troops. Shortly after, a British Army squad leader who orders his men to cease fire is also armed with a Heckler & Koch G36C. Prop G36Ks can also be seen in the hands of refugees during a funeral march.

L85A1

British Army soldiers throughout the film use L85A1 rifles (identified by their round charging handles). They are fitted with SUSAT scopes, however, on closer examination, they are actually of Swedish rather than British origin based on the different designs of their mounting base. They are most prominently seen when the military invades the Bexhill refugee camp.
