| The following weapons are seen in the television series The Unit: | | The Unit was a military action series that aired on CBS for four seasons from 2006 to 2009. The series followed the lives of the men of a covert US Special Operations unit as well as the lives of the women they leave at home. The series was created by Pulitzer Prize-winning author David Mamet and executive produced by Shawn Ryan (The Shield) and was based on the book "Inside Delta Force", written by Eric Haney, who was an early member of Delta Force and served as senior technical adviser on the show. |

| |
| | |
| The SIG-Sauer P226 is the sidearm of Sgt. Charles Grey (Michael Irby), Sgt. Hector Williams (Demore Barnes) and Sgt. Bob Brown (Scott Foley). Bob routinely carries a full size Glock in season 1 before switching to a P226. Charles procures one with a suppressor in season 4, episode 14.

| |
| | |
| The Beretta 92FS has been seen in the hands of SWAT members, Unit members, and US military CID agents. Mack picked one off a biker when he lured them into a fight. In the season 1 episode "Dedication" most of Alpha and Bravo teams are seen with them in holsters, though they are never used.

| === Brixia 8mm Walther Blank Firing Pistol ===
| |
| | |
| In the story. Jonas took 2 of these out as a hidden weapon that he kept within a rat trap. He handed on to is wife before he made a disappearing act. I guess in story it's supposed to resemble a Walther TP or TPH.
| |
| | |
| | |
| I don't know dude...these look a lot like the Walther PP or PPK to me. If these images are from the episode I am thinking of (the finale of Season 1) my reaction, at the time, was "why is Joans carrying such a weak ass pistol as his sidearm???".
| |
| | |
| Nah, the Walthers don't have that little extra piece of metal extending from the trigger guard to the barrel. But, then again...
| |
| :It looks like a Walther PSM. It's like a PPK but with an extended trigger guard. Hammer looks like it too. -GM
| |
| ::What is a Walther PSM? Did you mean Walther TP or TPH? PSM is a Russian pistol made by Izhevsk.
| |
| | |
| ::That is a Brixia 8mm Walther Blank Firing Pistol. I just checked the lower image against the one I have. Brixia Arms used to make this type of blank gun about 10 years ago, but their quality was pretty bad. There 'might' be some available, but the majority of the 8mm theatrical blank firing PPKs on the market now are made by Kimar or Voltran. What tips it off, is the writing on the slide (it is identical to the markings on my Brixia Nickel plated Walther PPK theatrical blank gun) and the hole drilled in the top of the barrel (where the ejection port is). This hole allows the flash from the blank round to fire upwards since the barrel is blocked. Also the magazine is a thin single stack type that only holds those skinny 8mm blank rounds. ____MoviePropMaster2008

| === Remington 1866 Derringer ===
| |
| | |
| At the last episode of season 1, Jonas had it as a hidden weapon and in season 4 it was Bridgett Sullivan's backup weapon.
| |
| | |
| Actually I believe it is a DA38 Double Action Derringer made by American Derringer. The Remington derringers' barrels tilt up while the one in the show has barrels that tip down and when Jonas places it in his waistband it appears to have a double action trigger.

| |
| | |
| Seen in the Season 2 finale "Paradise Lost". It was Mack's hidden weapon which was then used by his wife Tiffy (Abby Brammell) to threaten him before he took it back. Also seen in the Season 4 premiere "Sacrifice" as Mack's throw away gun.

| === Tokarev TT-33 ===
| |
| | |
| The one seen in the series seems to be a chrome plated Tokarev TT-33 Pistol or some other copy. Norinco tokarevs are used by chinese officers when the unit fights them at the casino. Used by Jonas and Bob.

| === High Standard Sharpshooter M ===
| |
| | |
| Bob Brown was given this gun in his first mission in episode one and he used with great effect to take care of terrorists hiding in the woods. The weapon he had had a wooden grip. Also seen (very briefly) used by Ryan in Season 1 Episode 11 (Exposure) in a flashback. Despite being a suppressed weapon, the sound effect used is that of an unsuppressed gunshot.

| ===Makarov PM===
| |
| | |
| Found on a Spetznaz member in season 4, and identified by Bob as "9mm armor piercing Standard Spetznaz Issue". In all likelihood this is meant to stand in for an SR-1 Gyurza, though it is clearly a Makarov, with the grips being the most obvious givaway. One was also seen in the hands of an Iranian embassy guard in the Season 1 episode "Security."

| |
| | |
| Seen used by Jonas, Bob, and Grey on a few occasions. Notable in episode 1 of season 4. Though the ones in the first episode of season 4 might have just been regular MP5s with fake SD barrels because the sounds didn't sound like suppressed rounds. Either that or someone in the sound department forgot to edit the sound in that episode to be more quiet. Most of the MP5SDs in season 4, episode 1 were of the newer variants with the navy trigger group.

It was noted that Blaine recognized the sound of a "7.62" shot distinctly over the enemy sniper's weapon to recognize friendly's fire. The problem is that all of their rifles fires 5.56 including the man they were rescuing, who clearly was using an M4. At the beginning of the episode - Bob was training a group of unit members and except himself, they all were using these rifles. Propwise, these are probably the same ones used later in the episodes by the rest of the Unit cast out in the field. This rifle was used more as a sniper rifle, since they were all fighting in semi. One instance where Mack fired in full for suppression fire means these rifles aren't semi-only sniper rifles, but used in the same manner, also with 20 round magazines.

| | |
| It's worth noting that the sound signature of the "7.62" that Blain recognized was much beefier than that of a 5.56. Spartan198

| === Armalite AR-10 ===
| |
| | |
| An Armalite AR-10 was dressed up as a sniper rifle, most likely a placeholder for the SR-25, and was used by Bob Brown in Season 1 Episode "Dedication". It is not a SR-25 as has been previously posted (though it is most likely intended to pass for one), note the fencing around the magazine release, M14 style magazine, and the brass deflector. The SR-25 lacks both of these.
| |
| | |
| Oddly, Bob fires it on full auto while in the chopper, despite the fact that its trigger unit clearly lacks an "Auto" option.

| ===Remington 700 action on Accuracy International Chassis System ===
| |
| | |
| Seen in the season 1 episode "Non-permissive Environment" and was "fired" by Bob. Mack also used this in Episode 1 of the 4th season.
| |
| | |
| This is an Accuracy Internation Chassis System (AICS). The bolt is not an AI design and is probably a Remington 700 variant. The folding stock hinge and adjustable cheek piece are visible in the close-up, so this would be an AICS ver. 2. Also, AI L115 rifles are generally outfitted with Schmidt and Bender PMII scopes which this scope is definitely not. Also, unless the magazine has been removed (unlikely during a mission), the magazine on an actual Accuracy International AW/M will be protruding from the bottom of the stock. You can clearly see the paddle style magazine release in front of the trigger guard which would normally be blocked by an inserted magazine.

| This rifle is the same rifle used by Micheal Weston in Season 2 of Burn Notice. He assembles a Rem 700 in a folding AICS Stock. The giveaway is the scope rings are the same cheapies seem on Jonas rifle here. They should be heavy badgers or warnes.

| === Blaser R93 LRS2 Precision Sniper Rifle===
| |
| | |
| During an episode in season 3, the Unit went on a mission with the Blaser R93 LRS2 as their sniper rifles. There were 3 of them at most held by Bob, Grey and Mack with Jonas alternating with Bob a couple times. Though, it does seem that none of the actors fired a shot from the rifle as apparently when Mack "fired" from standing, he felt no recoil at all and there was no muzzle flash when Bob "fired" his. The sound effect made us hear a suppressed round when clearly none of the rifles were suppressed.

| Like all armories for film and TV series, these would most likely be Cobray 37mm flare launchers that were designed to look like M203s. This is a common practice to have the appearance of 203s. It is unlikely any of the M203s seen in the series are real M203s.
| |
| :While that could be the case, the second picture of Blane show that it is an M203, the the C37. But, with the advancement of m203s and RIS systems, a soldier could simply slide on an m203. So, it could also be an airsoft replica if its never fired. The Winchester

| Both examples seen here are the Chinese Type 69 launcher (the Chinese version of the Soviet RPG-7). The biggest difference is that the Chinese RPG had only one pistol grip. | |
| | |
| In season 4, episode 4, Bob and Jonas had these weapons disguised as the carrying handles for their wheelie bags. It appears each of the square extendable rods were hidden barrels that each load one round, possible .22 or something small. To fire, they collaspe the carrying handle forward into the smaller rod like you would a carrying handle of this type and it fires both rounds at the same time. I don't know if this is a real firearm, but it acts like one. Meant to be used to disarm armed men with real guns.
