Tom Savini has been hailed as one of the all time legends of screen make-up and practical special effects. Perhaps best known for his involvement in [[George A. Romero]]'s "Dead trilogy" (specifically ''[[Dawn of the Dead (1978)|Dawn of the Dead]]'' & ''[[Day of the Dead (1985)| Day of the Dead]])'' as well as directing the ''[[Night of the Living Dead (1990)|1990 remake]]'' of the original ''[[Night of the Living Dead (1968)|Night of the Living Dead]]''.
