This became the most common weapon after its interoduction in Season 4, Episode 8 ("The First Ones"). The P90TR (Tactical Rail) model was used in later seasons. It had integral Picatinny rails on the sides of the carrying handle for mounting accessories and a replaceable "iron sight" strip on the top of it for mounting optical or electronic scopes.
It was discontinued after Season 7 due to an ammo ban in Canada that made procuring the special blanks impossible.
