Catch a Fire is a 2006 biographical thriller film about activists against apartheid in South Africa. It is the true story about Patrick Chamusso; who joined the militant movement after being falsely accused of plotting to bomb the Secunda oil refinery in 1980. The movie details his arrest and torture at the hands of the South African police, his subsequent radicalization and eventual imprisonment, until the dismantling of Apartheid in the early nineties. Catch a Fire was shot on location in South Africa, Swaziland and Mozambique during the Fall of 2005.
