'''Brother (Brat) (1997)''' is a Russian film. People who don't speak Russian may find it ironic and humorous that the Russian word for 'brother' is 'brat', so any of us who have brothers will find humor in that translation.   The story revolves around a young Russian man named Danila, who goes to join his older brother in St. Petersburg.  But Danila's older sibling is a gangster and cold blooded killer.  Danila is asked to kill someone, and soon learns that he finds killing easier than living.

The story revolves around a young Russian man named Danila (Sergei Bodrov Jr.), who goes to join his older brother in St. Petersburg. But Danila's older sibling is a gangster and a cold-blooded contract-killer.
