Welcome to IMFDB

Before you do any editing please take the time to read the Rules, Standards and Principles. This is a very important document that explains how this website is setup as well as telling you what is and isn't allowed. If it is determined by an admin that you have not read these rules, your account will be suspended. Continued non-compliance may result in a permanent ban. After that you should also read the IMFDB Screencapping Guide and the IMFDB Style Guide to familiarize yourself with the image and formatting requirements for pages you create.

There are a number of pages that desperately need your help. You can find these Incomplete pages here.

If you have any questions, feel free to post them here but make sure to sign your post by typing --~~~~.

Finally, IMFDB has a forum set up here that is only available to registered members. There is lots of good stuff to see there. If you would like to join the forum, please post HERE and an account will be created for you.

Now, HAPPY EDITING! bunni (talk) 18:52, 1 November 2023 (UTC)

Sandbox page for you

Since you seem interested in making a sandbox, you can use this link to make yourself an actual sandbox https://www.imfdb.org/wiki/User:VolkNet/Sandbox

Your user talk is meant for messages relating to wiki things directed at you, so I'd recommend moving your sandbox there and putting anything in the future there as well. --PyramidHead (talk) 04:41, 4 November 2023 (UTC)

Oh. Ok, Thank you! --VolkNet (talk) 17:05, 4 November 2023 (UTC)

Some Black Ops gear corrections

The ushankas worn by the Soviets in Vorkuta are not fictional, they are Swedish. And the uniforms of the Cuban soldiers are not even Cuban, they are French. --Nanomat (talk) 03:06, 7 December 2023 (UTC)

Oh Dear... *sigh* Thanks for the info, much appriciated, this has been corrected. --VolkNet (talk) 04:15, 7 December 2023 (UTC)

Lists of weapons by armed forces

On these armed forces lists, the active IMFDB staff discussed them and came to the conclusion that they are beyond the scope of IMFDB, and IMFDB is not a good place for these lists. See Category talk:Lists of weapons by armed forces for the part of the discussion that happened on the Wiki.

On "reposting" these lists, you don't have to do them in your personal sandbox; the "original 5" lists are currently backed up in their talk pages. I think you can find them by typing "Talk:List of..." in the search bar. --Wuzh (talk) 08:04, 23 December 2023 (UTC)
