It holds 18 bullets at once but in practice the weapon can only be fired 6 times before reloading as all 3 barrels are always fired (and the ammo counter treats 3 bullets as one to make keeping track easier.) together with one of the barrels always hitting the center of the player's crosshair (and above it due to recoil if the player fires rapidly) while the other two barrels spread out over a distance.

Ion Fury is a retro-styled throwback first-person shooter developed by Voidpoint and prequel to Bombshell. The player plays as Shelly "Bombshell" Harrison, an EDF bomb disposal expert who finds herself fighting against the cybernetic forces of the evil cult scientist Dr. Jadus Heskel.

While Bombshell is a top down stick shooter, Ion Fury pays homage to Duke Nukem (since "Bombshell" was actually a cut character from Duke Nukem Forever) by being a Duke Nukem 3D style shooter on a modified Build Engine.

The following weapons appear in the video game Ion Fury:

Player Weapons

"Loverboy"

Seemingly based somewhat on the obscure "Pistola con caricato", the "Loverboy" is Shelly's default weapon. It holds 18 bullets at once but in practice the weapon can only be fired six times before reloading as all three barrels are always fired (and the ammo counter treats three bullets as one to make keeping track easier), together with one of the barrels always hitting the center of the player's crosshair (and above it due to recoil if the player fires rapidly) while the other two barrels spread out over a distance.

TDI Vector

The "Penetrator" submachine gun is loosely based on the TDI Vector, holding 50 bullets in a magazine and firing incendiary rounds. Shelly can dual-wield two Penetrator submachine guns at once though the sprite for the left Penetrator is just mirrored.
