Before 1964, the U.S. were using M1903A4s as their sniper rifle. They were in Vietnam in 1954 so it could be possible that VCs stole some M1903s. The communists probably captured some M1903s from the Korean War. - [[User:Kenny99|Kenny99]] 14:51, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
*Made some errors. During World War 2, the United States sent troops to India to supply China weapons and supplies to continue the war against Japan. Yes, that guy is definitely a vandal, but I dealt with another one recently, and MPM suggested that I just warn him and if it happens again, have him blocked. I figure that I should try that method because he just wrote something silly (much like the person I dealt with recently). However, if it was something offensive, I would've gotten him blocked by now. But that wasn't the case here. Rest assured, if it happens again, he's gone. -[[User:Gunman69|Gunman69]] 22:36, 8 November 2009 (UTC)

==Re: Finished Vice== | |||
No, still have two more seasons to go. I have a few movie pages I need to finish work on. (Just captions.) Then I'll get back on Vice. While it helps a lot with Gunman writing the captions. It still takes a lot of time capping each episode (20+ per season), labeling and uploading. You know how that is. Your to do list
Did you even check to see if others had already done those page?MoviePropMaster2008 17:52, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, quite a few of those are already done. However, to be fair, my RoboCop and Blood Diamond pages are filled up mostly with screenshots from AVI rips of the movies, which is something I no longer do nowadays when I'm screencapping pages. If you have the DVDs of those movies and want to replace my low-res shots with higher-res versions, that's fine by me. -MT2008 18:05, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
Predator 2
Do you need help doing the links to the gun pages? I would recommend you look at other movie pages that have the same guns as in Predator, and copy and paste the text that links their pages. For instance, Patriot Games has the MP5A2, so you could hit "Edit" and copy-and-paste that text.
- I don´t need help with that.- Oliveira 19:48, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
- Don't ask me permission to replace the images. Go to it. I just did one test of an image to see how the size changed. It went from 703 KB to the low 200s. MoviePropMaster2008 22:42, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
The Dirty Dozen
I noticed you have Dirty Dozen on your to-do list. So do I. Do you want to do it or can I? It was actually the next movie I was going to do after End of Days. - Gunmaster45
- Same with Great Escape, that was after DD.

Copyright violation
THANKS! I really appreciate it when IMFDB users give me heads up when other people are pirating my photos. Sure, I'm being a bit of a dick about it but copyright violation is a serious matter and I hate it when some guy uploads my photo and 'claims' it as his own. Thanks again! After all I shot all these images FOR IMFDB. I sent the guy a note to remove the image or else I would report it to the mods. Thanks again! :) MoviePropMaster2008 22:10, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

Barack Obama
I am probably the only one that likes him here.
- No, man you aren't. My truck proudly displays a "Veteran for Obama" sticker. So don't take any shit off people for being a pro-gun Liberal. Thomas Jefferson was a pro-gun liberal, as was the late, great Hunter S. Thompson. Keep your powder dry! -J --DOHC Holiday 22:20, 25 May 2009 (UTC)
I don't hate Obama either. Its refreshing to have a president who isn't an incompetent fool. I also don't believe what people are saying about him trying to ban guns. It would be a stupid move on his part to go against what the majority of the U.S populace wants and it would cost too much (they'd have to pay for every gun taken and many people would be without jobs if the firearms industry was shut down. - Hope you don't mind, Oliveira, but I moved the discussion from your user page to your talk page.
- As far as Obama goes, I don't like him, don't consider myself a liberal, and am less than enthusiastic about his presidency, but I don't think it's going to be as bad as many of my fellow conservatives believe. Obama is still a politician who is bound by the limits of presidential politics in this country. - Thanks MT2008. I have some things i don't like about him such as the fact that he has done nothing about nuclear weapons. He said that we should pursue a "world without nuclear weapons"(and that's a quote) but he still has done nothing about them.Oliveira 15:44, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

Too many screencaps
I Don't know if you've been following this debate on IMFDB but there is actually a limit on how many screencaps are useful on a page. When you have too many screencaps, especially of the same gun, it is no longer educational, but painful to scroll down endlessly to get to the next section. Just thought you should know that too many screenshots is not encouraged. Thanks :) MPM2008

Write your responses to the correct person!
You're now the THIRD person to respond to someone's comment on MY talk page. If you want to comment on something they wrote, write it on THEIR page or else they won't see it. When addressing someone don't write on my talk page. You guys are talking about stuff I don't care anything about and thus your points are lost :) MoviePropMaster2008 20:18, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
SPAS 12
You're completely wrong about the SPAS 12. I have no interest in video games, however, the SPAS appears in MOVIE and TV shows all the time, thus it has a place on IMFDB. I think you completely missed the point I was making. I don't like having weapons which don't exist in movie armories on IMFDB, I could care less about whether any 'group' would use them in a Video Game. Again, the XM-8 (or decent enough copies of it) have appeared in movies, thus it BELONGS on imfdb. What I don't like are all those new age Russian weapons like the AN94 or the KSVK sniper rifle. etc. Until I see them in a MOVIE or TV show, I don't care to know about them. There are tons of weird experimental weapons that belong on GUN sites like guns of the world or Gunpedia, but not IMFDB. I know I can't ignore the VG portion, but personally, I think the VG designers insisting on using real world guns but weapons that no one even has good pictures of, irritating. MoviePropMaster2008 20:27, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
RE Hey AdAstra
Hi, The reason why alot of my caps don't have captions are that for some screencaps adding captions would be redundant as it may be obvious on what is occuring in the screencap. I usually add captions on the first one though. --AdAstra2009 21:19, 12 June 2009 (UTC)

- Hey Oliveira, I was going to answer you but I was beat to the punch on it. Now you know who he is and he does alot of different things in the industry. It's funny that I might not be on set but I could still be part of a show working on these guns. The amount of gunsmiths in the industry is pretty small. -Steve

Re:
Funny how Dillinger know so much about guns. I mean, i know he was in the Navy but not a lot of criminals know how to rechamber guns and the like.
Oh, Dillinger's machine pistol wasn't re-chambered in real life; it actually fired .38 Super, because he preferred this caliber to 9mm or .45 ACP. But the reproduction of his weapon that was built by the ISS armorers for use in the filming of Public Enemies was re-chambered for 9mm because almost no .38 Super blank cartridges exist in the industry.
Also, you should join the forum on this site (http://www.imfdb.org/forum/). When you do, please message me. -MT2008 20:35, 12 July 2009 (UTC)

- Damm. You guys are right. I will stay out of this.-Oliveira 21:52, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
- Who speaks just German? I know some German-S&Wshooter 06:12, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

RE: MSN
No, I don't. I've never been much of an online chatter, I tried AIM once but my friends where just bugging the shit out of me whenever I was trying to get work done, so I ditched it. - Gunmaster45
Sci-Fi Gunner's message on MT2008's page
Eh, go easy on him, the mind slowly grows when it comes to learning guns, and help from experianced people helps. And be honest, had you ever heard of the RPD before COD4 came out (or at least, when it was put on this site to fill out the COD4 page?) ;) - Gunmaster45
RE:"Viet Cong"
Um,could you help me on Journey from the Fall as Lisle202 claims the gun to be an RPK,but it's an RPD. Look at these. Is it an RPD or an RPK? - Kenny99 18:18, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
Re:Magazines
Yup,your right. The Vietnam scene was set in 1974 so it's accurate to see 30 round mags. Anyway, why do I always run into you mostly on most of the pages I edit and the ones I look at? - Kenny99 18:39, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
Re:Because i love this website
The one in X-Men Wolverine is the Vietnam Scene I am refering to. - Kenny99 18:44, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
Talk to me
I added your MSN Excalibur01 02:23, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
Sadly not.
IRC and Skype is already too much for me to keep up with. Vangelis 14:12, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
Thing Thing
Yup, I think that the guy who created it probably doesn't understand that flash games don't count. I just asked Gunmaster45 to delete and I'm sure it will. - 76.103.60.185 21:46, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
You should be able to see now.
I think it's a more efficient way to do things than messaging an admin on their talk page every time we find a bad article. Vangelis 22:23, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
Your edit to Redacted. I am undoing it. It is needed and being from Brazil, you would not understand nor appreciate the insult that this films presents. MPM2008
RE: Rules
I'm adding guidance to the Help page, to hopefully assist new users on building pages. Right now I don't need any help, but maybe later. - Gunmaster45
Re: Screencapping
Thank you, man. I really want to learn how, but I haven't been able. Anyways, I downloaded it, so whenever you can, please teach me. -Gunman69 20:45, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

RE: advanced controls on the "Tools" tab?
On mine you click on the View tab and its below Fullscreen Interface. On the Tools tab is where I go to Preferences at the bottom to set up the pic folder. That's the way mine is anyway. Predator20 23:36, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
Calm down relax
Calm down about fucking "Colombian" fix Gunmans spelling and move on. Predator20 18:22, 9 August 2009 (UTC)
The thing you have to remember about most Americans, we don't give a damn about any other country. Spelling it right or any other thing. Its all about us us us. But anyway chill. Predator20 18:32, 9 August 2009 (UTC)
Agreed. Calm down. It was a simple mistake. I would imagine that Colombians have some misconceptions about the United States as well. And by the way you din't need to call us names. Or would you like us to do the same? --Jcordell 18:59, 9 August 2009 (UTC)
Alright got your message. Understood.--Jcordell 22:11, 9 August 2009 (UTC)
Okey
I know. Just wanting to post a bit. - Kenny99 00:39, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
- Anyway, get your angry comments to something else. You should argue at the guy who created it by looking at the page history. (This is the guy who created it: User:Bullpuplover. He has no user page or talk.) - Kenny99 00:42, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
- Thing Thing Arena 2 isn't deleted so sorry. I marked it and no admin won't delete it. - Kenny99 01:51, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
Re:Magazines(X-Men Origins: Wolverine)
I don't know if a Colt Model 733 is available for 1974. It was made in 1973. What do you think? - Kenny99 20:53, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
Tunnel Rats "what was the armourer thinking"
You can ask him yourself now. Olly Steel, the man responsible for armoring District 9, Tunnel Rats, and a few other things, is now on IMFDB as an anonymous user.-protoAuthor
Hi
I have something to announce to some users: I'm making a new account, Kenny199 because I had account problems such as when I go to my account user page, it is blank for some weird reason. - Kenny99 02:37, 5 September 2009 (UTC)
Talk: Tropic Thunder: AKM
Before 1964, the U.S. were using M1903A4s as their sniper rifle. They were in Vietnam in 1954 so it could be possible that VCs stole some M1903s. The communists probably captured some M1903s from the Korean War. - Kenny99 14:51, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
- Made some errors. During World War 2, the United States sent troops to India to supply China weapons and supplies to continue the war against Japan. They also fought with the Chinese and defeated the Japs. These supplies could be M1903 Springfields. - Kenny99 20:16, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
Predator 2
Do you plan on doing any more work on Predator 2? There are some guns missing and some that are listed with no caps. -Predator20 04:18, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
- Sounds like a plan. What's left on We Were Soldiers? Looks about completed, but I haven't seen that movie since it was first released. --Predator20 13:52, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
User:24.36.231.138
Yes, that guy is definitely a vandal, but I dealt with another one recently, and MPM suggested that I just warn him and if it happens again, have him blocked. I figure that I should try that method because he just wrote something silly (much like the person I dealt with recently). However, if it was something offensive, I would've gotten him blocked by now. But that wasn't the case here. Rest assured, if it happens again, he's gone. -Gunman69 22:36, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
Abomination shotgun
Thank you. I thought I had uploaded one but I couldn't FIND IT. Like a moron, I didn't create a page to park that image that I could remember. Thanks for the heads up and I will delete the old one. MoviePropMaster2008 20:41, 11 November 2009 (UTC)
The A-Team
I was watching 2 episodes today and Hannibal definately used a Browning HP, i think they were from season 1. But just from memory, BA used the chrome S&W in a lot of the later episodes which seemed odd when the others are using Mini-14's. --The Mercenary 22:10, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
- Ok, i just wish people would sign their messages--The Mercenary 17:05, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
The M16s from We Were Soldiers
Did Steve specifically say that they were genuine XM16E1s? I kind of doubt it, though I guess we can ask. But LMO reports that they were converted from other M16 variants. -MT2008 18:29, 22 November 2009 (UTC)
- Of all the M16's on the set we had 4 original XM16E1's. The rifle Mel used was a Colt M16A1 but the XM16E1's we issued to some main actors and not extras. - Steve Karnes
Nagant's on We Were Soldiers
The Nagant Carbines used by the Viet Minh are Type 44 carbines although we had a few 91/30's there from another armory. - Steve Karnes
RE: Hurt Locker Screencaps
Umm, yes, I took some of the photos on the article, but not all of them. I used a program called FS Capture to help me get images off YouTube videos (in this case, the trailer). Technically, the images are from the trailer, but I wasn't too sure whether or not they were legal or not. Sorry if I had caused any problems. --Blemo TALK • CONTRIBUTIONS • EMAIL • MESSAGE 07:35, 27 November 2009 (UTC)

Re: Finished Vice
No, still have two more seasons to go. I have a few movie pages I need to finish work on. (Just captions.) Then I'll get back on Vice. While it helps a lot with Gunman writing the captions. It still takes a lot of time capping each episode (20+ per season), labeling and uploading. You know how that is. What are your next projects?--Predator20 20:47, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
