Nice, but where's the trigger? This article or section is incomplete. You can help IMFDB by expanding it. |
The Untouchables was a television crime series that aired from 1993 to 1994 on the UPN network. More inspired by the 1987 feature film than the 1959 Robert Stack television series, the show ran for only two seasons and was the brainchild of writer/director Christopher Crowe (who also developed the UPN television series Seven Days). The cast included Tom Amandes (The Long Kiss Goodnight) as Eliot Ness, William Forsythe as Al Capone as well as John Rhys-Davies, Michael Horse, and David James Elliott.
The following weapons were used in the television series The Untouchables:
M1911A1
The M1911A1 is the handgun carried by Eliot Ness (Tom Amandes).
Smith & Wesson Model 10
Colt Police Positive
Chicago officers are armed with the Colt Police Positive.
Colt Model 1908 Vest Pocket
Colt New Service
The Colt New Service is carried by several of the agents.
Colt Single Action Army
Winchester Model 1897 Shotgun
The Winchester Model 1897 shotgun is the shotgun carried by Agent Paul Robbins (David James Elliott) and Agent George Steelman (Michael Horse).
Ithaca Model 37 Shotgun
Since the Ithaca 37 did not exist at the time of the Prohibition 'wars', the Ithaca is standing in for either a Remington Model 17 or a Model 31 (which is common since the Ithaca is (outwardly) very similar to the Remington Models of the period).
Winchester Model 1887
Thompson M1928
Many gangsters and policemen use the Thompson M1928 in the series including Agent Michael Malone (John Rhys-Davies).
