The following weapons can be seen in the film The Hunt for Eagle One:
Pistols
Beretta 92FS
The Beretta 92FS is the standard pistol carried by both the American and Filipino soldiers in the film, and can also be seen being used by several of the rebels.
Unidentified Colt Variant
At one point the Beretta 92FS carried by Maj. Aginaldo (Ricardo Cepeda) changes to a Colt 1911 pattern pistol. The pistol bears a resemblance to the original Colt XSE in that it has front and rear diagonal slide serrations and the original M1911 sights, however the pistol in question has a traditional spurred hammer. It is likely that this pistol is manufactured in the Phillipines, by one of several companies that make Colt type pistols.
Unidentified 1911 Pistol
An unidentified 1911-style pistol is used by one of the rebels during the attack by the Filipino Army.
Assault rifles
Colt Model 653P
Lt. Narcisco Montalvo (Rey Malonzo) carries an unusual rifle throughout the film. It is most likely a Colt Model 653P fitted with an M4 stock with rubber butt pad, an unusual ported compensator, a telescopic sight, a railed fore-end and a coupled magazine. US manufactured Model 653s had the early type forward assist which featured a tear-drop shaped button, however the rifle shown in the movie has a rounded forward assist button which was a feature found only on the Filipino manufactured Model 653P, prominently seen in the movie Platoon (also filmed in the Philippines). It is also possible that this is an early Model 723 which was originally made without the case deflector, but due to filming location and the seemingly large amount of support and equipment that was provided to the film-makers by the Filipino army the Model 653P is more likely.
Colt Model 727
The main carbine used by the US Marines, the Filipino Army and the rebels in the film is the Colt Model 727. Lt. Matt Daniels (Mark Dacascos) carries an unmodified carbine, but Spec. Hank Jackson's (Zach McGowan) rifle is fitted with an M4 stock and an M203 grenade launcher which is inaccurate for the Marines but likely done to stand in for the M4A1.
Colt Model 733
Spec. Jeff Parker (Joe Fozzy) carries a Colt Model 733 fitted with a Tasco red dot sight, KAC railed fore-end with rail covers, KAC vertical grip and flashlight. Oddly, despite the fact that he is carrying the rifle with the shortest barrel in the team fitted with a non magnifying sight, he is depicted as the teams sharpshhoter with his 1x red dot sight being treated as a magnifying scope. Also, the red dot sight is attached to a rail that is parallel with the top surface of the carry handle rather than the bottom, meaning that the sight is pointing downwards at a severe angle that would only intersect the bullets trajectory at about 2 inches or 2 miles from the end of the barrel. Furthermore the sight is mounted an a large riser despite the fact it is already on the carry handle of the weapon, meaning that the actor has to place his head way above the natural firing position to look through the scope. In a continuity error, Lt. Matt Daniels (Mark Dacascos) can be seen carrying this weapon during the beach assault at the start of the movie.
M16A1
By far the most common weapon seen in this film is the M16A1 which is prolifically used by both the Filipino army and the opposing rebel forces. In some shots, particularly large crowd shots involving large numbers of troops, white numbers are visible painted on the weapons. Is is unlikely that a prop company would do this to their own weapons indicating that these weapons are provided by the Philippine Army, meaning that they are not Colt weapons but rather weapons produced locally under license by Elisco Tool. The rifles also feature the round forward assist plunger that was only found on Elisco M16A1s as opposed to the teardrop shaped one found on Colt rifles.
M16A2
M16A2s can briefly be seen on several occasions being used by the rebels, always fitted with an M203 grenade launcher. These weapons are slightly unusual in that rather than using the replacement handguard that normally mounts the M203, these weapons simply have the bottom half of the handguard removed and the One of the Filipino soldiers in Lt. Daniels' team can also be seen using an M16A2 without grenade launcher, but it is possible that this weapon is a replica/prop as it is used during a stunt and was never seen prior to this point in the movie.
Norinco Type 56
Several of the rebels can be seen with original Chinese manufactured fixed stock Norinco Type 56s as noted by their "pig sticker" folding bayonet.
Machine guns
Browning M2HB
A Browning M2HB can be seen mounted in the turret of a Philippine Army GKN Simba APC.
M60D
M60Ds can be seen mounted as the door guns on USMC UH-1 Hueys. In a continuity error these guns change to M60E3s in Capt. Amy Jennings' Huey after the crash.
M60E3
M60E3s are seen mounted as door guns on a USMC UH-1 Hueys, on the roof of a GKN Simba APC, and are used on several occasions by the rebels.
Other Weapons
M34 White Phosphorous Grenade
Capt. Amy Jennings (Theresa Randle) uses an M34 White Phosphorous grenade in order to signal her position for extraction.
M67 Fragmentation Grenade
M67 fragmentation grenades are used at several points by US Marines.
M203 Grenade Launcher
An M203 grenade launcher is prominently used by Spec. Hank Jackson (Zach McGowan) mounted under his Colt Model 727. Several rebels can also be seen with M203s mounted under their M16A2s.
RPG-7 (Mock up)
The rebels use what appear to be mocked up RPG-7s throughout the movie, both against ground troops and to shoot down several helicopters.
Oerlikon Contraves KBA-B02 Cannon
An Oerlikon Contraves KBA-B02 25mm cannon can be seen mounted in the turret of a Philippine Army AIFV.
M101A1 Howitzer
The Philippine Army uses a pair of M101A1 105mm howitzers during their assault on the rebel compound.
M2 Mortar
The rebels have several M2 60mm mortars which they use to defend their compound.
