The Detective (original title Syshchik) is a 1979 Soviet action movie directed by Vladimir Fokin. It depicts the adventures of a young, inexperienced, and very unlucky militioneer (police officer) Evgeniy Kulik (Andrey Tashkov).
The following weapons were used in the film The Detective (Syshchik):
Makarov PM
Makarov PM pistols are service sidearms of militioneers (police officers), including Evgeniy Kulik (Andrey Tashkov).
Margolin MCM
In the scene on the shooting range Kulik (Andrey Tashkov) and his colleagues fire Margolin MCM pistols. In reality Margolin pistols were used only for sporting competitions and never in training of Militsia personnel.
Nagant M1895
In one scene Kulik has a dream in which he personally defeats a gang, using his fists and a Nagant M1895 revolver, taken from one of the criminals.
