The Circus (Tsirk) is a Soviet 1936 musical comedy directed by Grigori Aleksandrov and Isidor Simkov. American circus actress Marion Dixon (Lyubov Orlova) goes on tour in Soviet Union where she finds her true love, Ivan Martynov (Sergei Stolyarov).
The movie, originally B&W, was digitally colorized in 2011.
The following weapons were used in the film The Circus (Tsirk):
Smith & Wesson No.3 Russian Model Revolver
In one scene a Smith & Wesson No.3 Russian Model revolver is seen in circus director Ludvig Osipovich's (Vladimir Volodin) room. Ludvig Osipovich grabs the revolver in order to threaten someone who knocks at his door, but the visitor appears to be his old friend Ivan Martynov (Sergei Stolyarov) who easily disarms Ludvig Osipovich.
FN Model 1905 Pistol
Franz von Kneischitz (Pavel Massalsky), Marion Dixon's theatrical agent and the main villain of the movie, carries an FN Model 1905 pocket pistol. He draws it in the climactic scene.
