Sicario: Day of the Soldado is the 2018 sequel to the 2015 crime thriller Sicario. The sequel was written by Sicario screenwriter Taylor Sheridan and directed by Stefano Sollima (Without Remorse). Benicio del Toro returns as the mysterious operative Alejandro, who reunites with his US government operative partner Matt Graver (Josh Brolin) in order to start a war between rival Mexican cartels to disrupt terrorist attacks on US soil. Jeffrey Donovan also returns as Steve Forsing from the original film.
The following weapons were used in the film Sicario: Day of the Soldado:

Handguns
Smith & Wesson 910
Alejandro (Benicio del Toro) uses a Smith & Wesson third generation semi-automatic pistol with blued finish as his sidearm in the film. It is probably a model 910, judging by the rear sight and lack of an ambidextrous safety lever, but it could also be a 915 with different sights. It cannot be a 5904 or 5944 because it has a safety lever on the left hand side only and is missing a double stack bulge by the trigger guard (910s and 915s have the bulge under the dust cover so it is almost hidden).
SIG-Sauer P228
Alejandro Gillick (Benicio del Toro) uses aSIG-Sauer P228 when impersonating a DEA federal agent rescuing Isobel Deyes.
Beretta 92FS
A Beretta 92FS (fitted with a flush-fit barrel that does not extend past the slide) is used by Alejandro Gillick (Benicio del Toro) during the war against the cartel. NOTE: Although this may appear to be the similar Beretta 92FS Centurion model, close examination reveals that while the barrel does not extend past the tip of the slide, the slide itself is longer than a Centurion-style slide. Likely, this is a regular 92FS fitted with an aftermarket shorter barrel.
This specific Beretta 92FS with a flush fit barrel also appears later in Scream (2022)
Glock 17
A cartel member is seen with a Glock 17.
Glock 19
Another cartel member uses a Glock 19. This pistol is also used by Alejandro Gillick (Benicio del Toro).
SIG-Sauer P226 TACOPS
Miguel Hernandez (Elijah Rodriguez) is seen with a SIG-Sauer P226 Tactical Operations pistol.
Submachine Guns
EKOL ASI Uzi
Steve Forsing (Jeffrey Donovan) is seen handling an EKOL ASI Uzi.
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
A Heckler & Koch MP5A3 is used by Matt (Josh Brolin) during Isabel's kidnapping.
Heckler & Koch MP5K
A Heckler & Koch MP5K is used by a gunman during an ambush.
Heckler & Koch UMP
Alejandro (Benicio del Toro) uses a Heckler & Koch UMP with a Trijicon SRS attached during a prisoner transport.
Rifles/Carbines
AKMS (Shortened)
A Somali pirate is seen with a shortened AKMS rifle.
M4A1 Carbine
The M4A1 Carbine is used by various operatives, including Steve Forsing (Jeffrey Donovan). During the Somalia raid in the early parts of the film, JSOC Operators are mostly seen with suppressed M4A1s with various other attachments.
M16A2
Mexican police officers are seen with M16A2 rifles.
Mk 18 Mod 0
Mk 18 Mod 0s are used by various government operatives.
Daniel Defense M4A1
Matt (Josh Brolin) uses a Daniel Defense M4A1 with a foregrip, Magpul PMAG, tan EOTech 553 sight, and SureFire M720V RAID light as his main weapon, as he had previously used in the first film.
FN SCAR-L CQC
An SCAR-L CQC is seen used by one of Matt's operatives.
Remington ACR
The Remington ACR-E is seen in the hands of Matt's operative named Troy (Howard Ferguson Jr.) during the convoy ambush.
Heckler & Koch G36C
One of the Matt's operatives can be seen wielding a Heckler & Koch G36C with an EOTech sight. A cartel member is also seen with a G36C while dragging a fellow dead cartel member back to their vehicle when their attack on the convoy fails.
Type 56-1
A masked gunman who participates in Isabel's kidnapping is armed with the Type 56-1, the Chinese copy of the AKS-47.
Heckler & Koch 417
During the Somalia operation early in the film, a JSOC operator uses what appears to be a suppressed Heckler & Koch HK417 to take out two Somali pirates. Toward the end of the film, a 417 is seen in the hands of one of Matt's operatives eliminating a few cartel members.
