I've been meaning to take caps for Homicide. Thanks for being very specific with the episode names. --[[User:Funkychinaman|Funkychinaman]] 09:38, 23 August 2011 (CDT)

Desert Eagle love

Just to warn you, most of the guys on the site don't love the Desert Eagle because we know that behind the fact that it "looks cool", it's heavy and unreliable (If you look at the forum, we've had several talks about them, and how they are "mall ninja" weapons). Once you handle one and fire one, the awe slowly fades and you realize its just another handgun, except it is a brick and jams often. The Smith & Wesson 500 on the other hand, is a good gun. Heavy and powerful, but usually revolvers are meat and potatoes simple and reliable, unless they are too complicatedly built. Plus, Smith & Wesson is a more reputable company than Magnum Research/IMI/IWI, who has at times produced the Desert Eagle. Welcome to the site, just thought I'd let you know. - Gunmaster45

Compliment on pictures

Thanks for the compliment on photos! I try my best and work really hard at it and it is gratifying to know that some members appreciate the work! I get quite a bit of moral support from the other MODS :) but it is always nice to know that some folks like the gun pics right away. There are quite a few guns that didn't have ANY good photographs of them on the net at all. Some guns were phantoms, with only sparsely written text on their existence on some web 'gun' pages, and no images. Just as tons of other Mods and Users have been trying to get good and accurate information on guns in film, I've been trying to get gun pics that are just rare and am trying to make IMFDB the place to go for gun pics. Complementing my photos

Which photos? I don't photograph professionally or anything, I just screencap movies. Whatever you mean, thanks though. - Gunmaster45

RE: Desert Eagle

I agree. the Eagle sucks and I would rather have the M500. It's perfect for big guys. -S&Wshooter

I'd boast to my friends who love Desert Eagles and I'd tell 'em that the Model 500 is better.

In my opinion, because this weapon has an autoloading feature, makes it and the Benelli M3 Super 90 pretty flexible, next best thing to an Benelli M4 Super 90 or a Remington 1100.
