Vickers K Aircraft Gun
The machine guns identified as Lewis guns sans water jackets are actually Vickers K aircraft guns. You can see the distinctive grip and trigger arrangement in some of the screenshots, and it’s obvious they are not using Lewis gun drums, but are the type used on the Vickers.
AFAIK, the aircraft version of the Lewis gun was never mounted on SAS jeeps.
I don’t think many original Vickers K are still around, and any surviving guns most likely aren’t available for film work, so probably these are some kind of mock ups or replicas. I considered the possibility these are mock ups built on Lewis guns but I don’t think that’s likely still since they are mounting Vickers drum magazines.—---Phillb36 (talk) 19:49, 24 November 2022 (UTC)
