The Colt 1862 Navy, also known as "Pocket Navy" model, is a pocket revolver, based on the Colt 1851 Navy design. Although similar to Model 1851, it is smaller, in particular having a 5-round cylinder. It should not be confused with the "Pocket Police" model, produced in the same period, which differed in the shape of the frame.
