Bad Times at the El Royale is a 2018 American neo-noir thriller film written, directed, and produced by Drew Goddard, starring Jeff Bridges, Cynthia Erivo, and Dakota Johnson.
In the late 1960s, a diverse group of travelers arrive at the El Royale, a rundown motel on the California-Nevada border. As the night unfolds, it becomes clear that not everyone is who they say they are, and their reasons for arriving at the El Royale are most certainly not to just stay the night.
