Uprising is a 2001 television war drama directed by Jon Avnet that focuses on the events surrounding the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising (16 April - 19 May 1943) during World War II. The television film, which stars Leelee Sobieski, Donald Sutherland and Jon Voight, premiered in the US on NBC in 2001.
