The following weapons were used in Season 5 of the television series The Expanse:
Handguns
Springfield Armory XD(M)
The 1st Gen "Martian Pistol", heavily modified version of the WE X Series IPSC Airsoft Pistol, itself based on the Springfield Armory XD continues to be used by James Holden (Steven Strait), Amos Burton (Wes Chatham) and Alex Kamal (Cas Anvar) after they acquired them in Season 1. Bobbie Draper (Frankie Adams) is also seen carrying one in "Exodus" (S5E01).
Note: In the context of the show, the weapons are stated to be "designed to fire both self-propelled rounds and traditional cartridge rounds, the rear of the barrel is vented at the back to eliminate recoil for use in zero-g situations".
Glock 26 Advanced
The "Star Helix Pistol", which is actually a visually modified Glock 26 Advanced Airsoft pistol (a fictional variant of the Glock 26 with an accessory rail, grip extension and compensated extended barrel originally manufactured by Tokyo Marui) continues to serve as the sidearm of many individuals in the series. This includes Cyn (Brent Sexton), Karal (Olunike Adeliyi), Camina Drummer (Cara Gee), members of the OPA Navy and Free Navy, and Chesapeake Maximum Security Correctional Center guards Rona (Natalie Brown), Morris (Arnold Pinnock) and Sullivan (Thomas Mitchell).
Note: In the context of the show, they are described as a "common gun made from plastic polymers so it can be 3D printed cheaply and reliably. It is designed for reliability and ease of use".
Tippmann TIPX (Olive)
The "Heavy Belter Pistol", which is in reality a modified Tippmann TIPX paintball pistol, is carried by Marco Inaros (Keon Alexander) and Filip Inaros (Jasai Chase-Owens) throughout the series. It is implied they took them as trophies from Commander Klaes Ashford (David Strathairn) who carried them in the finale of the previous season.
Glock 17
An unmodified Glock 17 pistol is pulled by the head of Winnipesaukee Island Security (Paul Fauteux) in "Winnipesaukee" (S5E09).
SIG-Sauer P320
Unmodified SIG-Sauer P320s are seen carried by Clarissa Mao (Nadine Nicole) and Hutch (Amanda Cordner) in "Tribes" (S5E08) and "Winnipesaukee" (S5E09).
Beretta Px4 Storm (Compact)
A modified black and tan Beretta Px4 Storm Compact is carried by Theo (Dayton Sinkia) in "Churn" (S5E02). It is later taken from him by Amos Burton (Wes Chatham).
Umarex Walther Red Hawk
The Umarex Walther Red Hawk is seen used by a young Amos Burton (Cole Pollock) in "Churn" (S5E02) and by Martian arms dealers in "Mother" (S5E03).
WE Hi-Capa 7.0 Dragon B
A modified WE Hi-Capa 7.0 Dragon B is carried by Erich (Jacob Mundell), a Baltimore crime boss, throughout the series. It has been fitted with some sort of pistol rail over its rear sight.
Unknown Compact 1911 Variant
An unknown compact M1911 variant is carried by Sakai (Bahia Watson) in "Gaugamela" (S5E04).
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP7
The Heckler & Koch MP7 is carried by Hutch (Amanda Cordner), second in command to crime boss Erich (Jacob Mundell), as her primary weapon throughout the series.
FN P90
The FN P90 is carried by Baltimore crime boss Erich (Jacob Mundell) and several members of his gang throughout the series.
TDI Vector
The TDI Vector is carried by Free Navy guards protecting Marco Inaros (Keon Alexander) onboard the FN Pella in "Down and Out" (S5E05).
Rifles
Heckler & Koch SL8-4
The "Star Helix Long Gun", which is actually an Airsoft Umarex SL9 resembling a Heckler & Koch SL8-4 with a G36K length barrel, handguard, and various futuristic modifications serves as the rifle of choice amongst many factions in the series. This includes the United Nations Navy and gang members working for Baltimore crime boss Erich (Jacob Mundell).
Remington 700
What appears to be an unmodified Remington 700 is carried by a member of the Winnipesaukee Island Security team in "Winnipesaukee" (S5E09).
Heckler & Koch PSG-1
What appears to be a Heckler & Koch PSG-1 is set up in the home of a survivalist in "Tribes" (S5E06).
Assault Rifles
APS UAR
The "Martian Long Gun", which is actually a slightly modified APS UAR Airsoft rifle, is carried by several Free Navy members loyal to Marco Inaros (Keon Alexander) throughout the series. It is implied they have access to the weapons due to several Free Navy ships being supplied by rogue elements of the Mars Congressional Republic Navy.
CSI XR-5 FG-1502
The rifle carried by Theo (Dayton Sinkia) in "Winnipesaukee" (S5E09) is in reality a modified CSI STAR XR5 airsoft gun manufactured by CSI. The airsoft weapon is specifically designed to be a Science Fiction variant, and is described as an "Advanced Main Battle Rifle". A similar weapon was carried by Adolphus Murtry (Burn Gorman) in the previous season.
IMI Tavor TAR-21
An unmodified IMI Tavor TAR-21 is carried by both a Winnipesaukee Island Security officer and a member of Erich (Jacob Mundell)'s gang in "Winnipesaukee" (S5E09).
Shotguns
UTAS UTS-15
A camo print UTAS UTS-15 is acquired by Amos Burton (Wes Chatham) in "Tribes" (S5E08). In what seems to be a continuity error, it changes into a Kel-Tec KSG shotgun during the shootout in "Winnipesaukee" (S5E09).
Kel-Tec KSG
Amos Burton (Wes Chatham) uses a visually modified Kel-Tec KSG shotgun in "Winnipesaukee" (S5E09). It replaces the UTS-15 he carried earlier in the previous episode, seemingly in a continuity error.
Machine Guns
GE M134 Minigun
The Rocinante is equipped with six "Point Defense Cannons" that resemble GE M134 Minigun's.
Note: in the context of the show, the PDC's are said to be manufactured by Nariman Dynamics and chambered in 40mm.
