Albert Salke ([[Mike Starr]]) and Jules Salke ([[Beau Starr]]) use a "suppressed" [[Colt Detective Special]] to kill the guard at Bumpy's building during their attempted hit, following the classic movie myth of having a suppressor work on a revolver.
Bub Hewlett ([[Clarence Williams III]]) carries a sawed-off [[Remington 870]] when Dutch's men raid the apartment at the end. He also uses one during the attempted hit on Queen Stephanie before tossing it away. This is anachronistic, as the [[Remington 870]] was not introduced until 1951. Several other sawed-off 870 shotguns are used, some without their stocks.
:To be clear, there are models of supressed revolvers that exist however they must be built from the ground up to be supressed, simply putting a suppressor on normal revolver does not work due to gas escaping from the gap between the cylinder and the barrel.  Therefore, calling suppressed revolvers a myth is only partially correct.

Wrong, there is a russian revolver, a nagant  something or other that was often silenced during WW2 because the way the gun worked the cartrage was longer than the chamber so it would be part way in the barrel when fired, eliminating escaping gas and noise. No custom built suppressed revolver exists.
