The following weapons were used in Season 1 of the television series Torchwood:
Pistols
Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 4.3
Torchwood agents Dr. Owen Harper (Burn Gorman), Ianto Jones (Gareth David-Lloyd), Toshiko Sato (Naoko Mori), Susie Costello (Indira Varma) and later Gwen Cooper (Eve Myles) carry the Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 4.3. The airsoft guns were used due to strict firearms controls in the UK and the reduced insurance cost during filming. Various minor characters are also seen with the weapon, including PC Huw (Rhys Op Trefor) in "Countrycide" and Mark Lynch (Alex Hassell) in "Combat".
SIG-Sauer P226
A SIG-Sauer P226 is used by Gwen Cooper (Eve Myles) during firearms training in "Ghost Machine".
Beretta 92FS Inox
A Beretta 92FS Inox is also used by both Gwen Cooper (Eve Myles) and Captain Jack Harkness (John Barrowman) in "Ghost Machine".
Heckler & Kock USP Compact (Two Tone)
Captain Jack Harkness (John Barrowman) is seen firing a two toned Heckler & Koch USP Compact during range training in "Ghost Machine".
M1911A1
A M1911A1 is used by PC Huw (Rhys op Trefor), a corrupt police officer, when capturing Gwen and Owen in Countrycide.
Glock 17
In "End of Days" a Glock 17 is briefly seen in the holster of a London Metropolitan Police SC019 officer.
Flintlock Pistol
A British Army solider soldier can be seen with a Flintlock Pistol during the Cardiff 1812 flashback in "Greeks Bearing Gifts".
Revolvers
Webley Mk. IV
Unlike most Torchwood personnel, Captain Jack Harkness (John Barrowman) instead uses a Webley Mk IV in .38 as his primary weapon, presumably chosen to fit in with the characters WWII RAF fashion sense. It is later used by Dr. Owen Harper (Burn Gorman) in "End of Days".
Smith & Wesson Model 36
A Smith & Wesson Model 36 is briefly fired by Gwen Cooper (Eve Myles) in "Ghost Machine".
Smith & Wesson Model 686
Captain Jack Harkness (John Barrowman) is briefly seen with a Smith & Wesson Model 686 when gun training with Gwen in "Ghost Machine" .
Rifles
Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk.III*
In "Small Worlds", various British and British Indian soldiers in Lahore, 1909, can be seen with Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk.III* rifles during a flashback.
Unknown Musket
In "End of Days", a small group of soldiers who 'fall through time' into present day London are armed with musket rifles, and engage in a brief shootout with police.
Shotguns
Remington 870
In Countrycide, a Remington 870 Shotgun fitted with wooden furniture, an extended magazine tube, rifled sights, and a shell holder is used by Kieran (Calum Callaghan) before he is taken by the cannibalistic villagers. It is later used by Captain Jack Harkness (John Barrowman) in the same epiosde. In a brief continuity error, when it is thrown down after running out of ammunition it changes to an M1 Garand rifle in the next shot.
12 Gauge Double Barrelled Shotgun
A hammerless 12 Gauge Double Barrelled Shotgun is used by one of the cannibals named Helen Sherman (Maxine Evans) in Countrycide. In Greeks Bearing Gifts, a man planning to murder his family uses one, but is knocked out by Toshiko Sato (Naoko Mori) before he can use it.
Assault Rifles
Heckler & Koch G36C
The Heckler & Koch G36C is carried by British Army soldiers in "Day One". Although not accurate (as the British Army in reality carries the L85), it mirrors the continuity of Doctor Who where soldiers are seen carrying the same rifle. In "End of Days", London Metropolitan Police SC019 officers are seen carrying the rifles in a news report.
