==Ruger GP100 / Taurus Raging Bull hybrid==
The Ruger GP100, known in-game as "Rhino 454", appears modelled with the barrel of a Taurus Raging Bull. It is obtainable though the in-game store, although it is score-locked. As the name suggests, it is chambered in .454 Casull, it also features a 5 round cylinder and is compatible with either a reflex sight, handgun scope or tritium sights. An alternate version with many decorative features such as engraving and a pearl grip also exists as "Sundberg 454" which was added during celebration of the fifth anniversary of the game. Like the Rhino, the Sundberg is also obtained through the store, although differs in that it is both free and not score-locked.

The [[ | The Ruger Mk IV was introduced in the "Weapon Pack 3" DLC under the name "Andersson .22LR", though interestingly the markings on the in-game model show the very different name of "Roger Mark II". Chambered in .22LR, it has a 10 round magazine and is compatible with a micro red dot sight, reflex sight, handgun scope and tritium sights. Two alternate variants exist with only cosmetic differences.

The Ruger Super Redhawk appears as the ".44 Panther Magnum" and is acquired through the in-game store. It is chambered in .44 Magnum with a 6 round cylinder and compatibility with a reflex sight, handgun scope or tritium sights. Two other interesting variations exist, one being the ".44 Wildcat Magnum", a fancy and engraved version which is for some reason not score-locked, and the even fancier ".44 Gaucho Magnum", which will only appear in the store after completing a series of missions on the "Parque Fernando" DLC map, it will be free but is still score-locked.

True to the name, it can be loaded with either .410 shotshells or .45 Long Colt, it also features a 6 round cylinder and compatibility with a handgun scope. == | ==Single Action Army==
A Single Action Army was added in the "Assorted Sidearms" DLC under the name ".45 Rolleston". As one would expect, it is chambered in .45 Colt and operates only in single action, it is modelled with a 6-round cylinder although the player will always skip over one of the chambers and only load five rounds instead, likely as a safety measure carried out on real SAA-pattern revolvers without a transfer bar. It is not compatible with any optic but does still have an alternate cosmetically different variant available. This gun is unique in that it features a special idle animation specifically when not loaded which has the player spin the gun around, additionally the hammer is fanned by the player when firing from the hip repeatedly.

= Bows & Crossbows = | |||
==Classical Bows== | |||
Two variations of classical bows exist in the game so far, each with multiple cosmetic variations. These bows have no form of sights, the idea of aiming one of these is a dubious idea at best. These bows are used with either 350 grain, 540 grain or 700 grain traditional arrows, for small, medium and large game respectively. They are quieter than firearms, meaning they won't scare animals as badly.
The "Alexander Longbow" was added with the "Silver Ridge Peaks" map DLC and is described in-game as flexible but sturdy. It has a peak draw weight of 60lb.
| |||
The "Houyi Recurve Bow" was added in the "Weapon Pack 1" DLC and is described in-game as being based on the designs of traditional Chinese Qing recurve bows. It has a peak draw weight of 70lb and uses the same arrows as the Alexander Longbow. Despite the name, this is actually a Reflex Bow.
| |||
| |||
==Compound Bows== | |||
Several variations of compound bows are in the game, most having no cosmetically different variants. These bows are extremely effective when used right, they are all compatible with a range of bow sights, including one sight with laser rangefinder. They are used with either 300 grain point arrows, 420 grain broadhead arrows or 600 grain broadhead arrows for small, medium and large game respectively.
The "Razorback CB 60" is described in-game as being sleek, quiet and deadly accurate, which holds true in gameplay. It features a peak draw weight of 60lb
| |||
The "Bearclaw CB 60" was added in its own DLC of the same name as the weapon itself. It is largely the same as the Razorback with same peak draw weight, but is also described as having a pre-installed stabilizer, it is also heavier.
| |||
The "Koter CB 65" was added in the "High Tech Hunting Pack" DLC and is the only compound bow with a single cosmetically different variation. It is described in-game as being versatile and within a sweet spot between the other compound bows. It features a peak draw weight of 65lb.
| |||
The "Hawk Edge CB 70" is described as being state-of-the-art, incredibly powerful and firing arrows at unusually flat trajectories. It features a peak draw weight of 70lb.
| |||
==Crossbows== | |||
The "CrossPoint CB 165" was added in the "Weapon Pack 1" DLC and is, as of this writing, the only crossbow in the game aside from its other cosmetic variants. It is described in-game as precision-crafted and powerful enough to take down the largest game animals. It is also described as featuring a woven carbon fiber barrel, a built-in rope-cocking device and a 4-arrow quiver, complete with a peak draw weight of 165lb. It is compatible with only a specific crossbow scope and either 300 grain point bolts, 420 grain broadhead bolts or 600 grain broadhead bolts for small, medium and large game respectively. This weapon will not frighten animals like a gun will, due to being much quieter.

theHunter: Call of the Wild is the 2017 successor to the 2009 video game theHunter. Like its predecessor, it is a hunting simulator which aims to depict realistic animal behavior and hunting techniques as players hunt across vast tracts of game reserves in multiple biomes.
The following weapons appear in theHunter: Call of the Wild:
Sidearms
Glock 40
The Glock 40 was introduced into the game with the "Assorted Sidearms" DLC as the "10mm Davani 40". Chambered in 10mm Auto, it features a 15 round magazine and compatibility with a micro red dot sight. An alternate custom variation also exists, though differences are only really cosmetic.
Ruger GP100 / Taurus Raging Bull hybrid
Ruger Mark IV
The Ruger Mk IV was introduced in the "Weapon Pack 3" DLC under the name "Andersson .22LR", though interestingly the markings on the in-game model show the very different name of "Roger Mark II". Chambered in .22LR, it has a 10 round magazine and is compatible with a micro red dot sight, reflex sight, handgun scope and tritium sights. Two alternate variants exist with only cosmetic differences.
Ruger Super Redhawk
Taurus Judge / Smith & Wesson Model 327 hybrid
The Taurus Judge was added in the "Weapon Pack 2" DLC with the name "Mangiafico 410/45 Colt", though modelled in-game with a barrel from the Smith & Wesson Model 327. True to the name, it can be loaded with either .410 shotshells or .45 Long Colt, it also features a 6 round cylinder and compatibility with a handgun scope. Two other variations also appear with only cosmetic differences.
Thompson Center Arms Contender
The Thompson Center Arms Contender was introduced with the "Assorted Sidearms" DLC as ".243 R.Cuomo". It is chambered in .243 Winchester and is compatible with a reflex sight and most rifle scopes, another cosmetically different variant is also available.
Single Action Army
Smith & Wesson Performance Center Hunter
The Smith & Wesson Model 629 Performance Center Hunter makes an appearance as the initial handgun available to the player under the name "Focoso .357". It is chambered in .357 Magnum with a 6 round cylinder and is compatible with either a reflex sight, handgun scope or tritium sights. The gun has clear markings which read "MADE IN ITALY Focoso 357 Morreiti".
Shotguns
M30 Luftwaffe Drilling
The M30 Luftwaffe Drilling was introduced in the "Weapon Pack 2" DLC as the "Grelck Drilling Rifle". It is chambered in 16 Gauge and 9.3x74mmR and is compatible with a special 3-9x scope, three variations in total exist with only cosmetic differences.
Over/Under 12 Gauge
An Over and Under Shotgun appears with the name "Caversham Steward 12G" as the initial shotgun available to the player. It is chambered in 12 Gauge and is compatible with a reflex sight, shotgun scope or tritium sights, though unlike the most of the guns in-game, the model is always equipped with a rail even without an optic. Two alternate variants exist, the "Gamekeeper 12G" which is available through the in-game store, and the rusted "Grankin's Shotgun", obtained (technically stolen) during a specific mission on the "Medved-Taiga National Park" DLC map.
Remington 870 Wingmaster
The Remington 870 Wingmaster appears under the name "Cacciatore 12G" (Cacciatore meaning Hunter in Italian). It is acquired through the in-game store, though is score-locked. As in the previous game, it is mixed with elements of the Mossberg 500 and Winchester Model 1200/1300, in the form of an extended magazine and trigger guard respectively. It features a 6 round capacity and compatibility with a reflex sight, shotgun scope or tritium sights.
Remington Versa Max
The Remington Versa Max was introduced as a part of the "Duck and Cover" DLC under the name "Nordin 20SA". It is chambered in 20 Gauge with a capacity of 3 rounds, it is also compatible with a shotgun scope. Three very cosmetically different variants exist in total.
Side-By-Side Shotgun
A Side by Side Shotgun was added as a part of the "Wild Goose Chase Gear" DLC with the name "Strecker SxS 20G". It is chambered in 20 Gauge and is compatible with a red dot sight. In total, four cosmetically different variants exist.
Winchester Model 1887
The Winchester Model 1887 was introduced in the "Smoking Barrels" DLC as the "Miller Model 1891". It is chambered in 10 Gauge with a capacity of 3 rounds and no compatibility with any optic, though none of this prevents it from being the most powerful shotgun in the game.
Winchester Model 1897
The Winchester Model 1897 was introduced with the "Rancho del Arroyo" DLC map with the name "Couso Model 1897" and is available through the in-game store. It is chambered in 16 gauge with a capacity of 5 rounds and is compatible with a shotgun scope. Three cosmetically different variants exist in total, though one of them is unique in that it is unlocked for free after completing a series of missions on the same DLC map as it was introduced with.
Rifles
AR-10
An AR-10 was added in the "Modern Rifle Pack" DLC under the name "Zarza-10 .308". It is chambered in .308 Winchester with a 5-round magazine and compatibility with a reflex sight and most rifle scopes, an alternate variant also exists with only cosmetic changes. According to the in-game description, it features a custom 24-inch barrel.
AR-15
Two variations of the AR-15 platform were also added in the "Modern Rifle Pack" DLC with the names "Zarza-15 .223" and "Zarza-15 .22LR" respectively. They each are chambered in what their names would suggest and both feature a 5-round magazine, compatibility with a reflex sight & most rifle scopes, and each feature a cosmetically different variant. According to their in-game descriptions, the .223 features a custom 20-inch barrel while the .22LR features a custom 1-inch barrel.
Blaser K95
The Blaser K95 makes an appearance in two forms, the "7mm Regent Magnum" and the "Rangemaster 338", both acquired through the in-game store. They are chambered in 7mm Remington Magnum and .338 Lapua Magnum respectively and both are compatible with a reflex sight, most rifle scopes and tritium sights. The Regent has an alternate cosmetically different variant while the Rangemaster does not.
Bolt Action .223
The very same unknown .223 bolt-action rifle from the previous game makes a comeback with the name ".223 Docent". Chambered in .223 Remington with a capacity of 6 rounds, it is also compatible with the usual options, a reflex sight and most standard rifle scopes.
Browning A-Bolt
The Browning A-Bolt was added in the "Weapon Pack 3" DLC as the "Eckers .30-06". Chambered in .30-06 Springfield with a capacity of 4 rounds and the typical options of a reflex sight, any standard rifle scope or tritium sights. Three cosmetically different variants exist.
Lee-Enfield Rifle
A sporterized Lee-Enfield was added with the "Te Awaroa National Park" DLC map as the "F.L. Sporter .303", and is obtained through the in-game store. It is chambered in .303 British and has a magazine capacity of 5 rounds, and is not compatible with a reflex sight but still can be equipped with most rifle scopes. Three cosmetically different variants exist, one of them is unique in that it is unlocked for free after completing a series of missions on the same DLC map it was added with.
Marlin Model 1895 / 336 Hybrid
A hybrid of a Marlin Model 1895 and a Marlin Model 336 appears as "Coachmate Lever .45-70" and is available through the in-game store. It is chambered in .45-70 and has a capacity of 3 rounds, a low number for the magazine tube length modelled on the rifle. It is also compatible with only a non-standard rifle scope and tritium sights.
Marlin Model 995
The Marlin Model 995 (indentified as such and not a Ruger 10/22 due to the form of the stock/reciever & use of straight magazines) was added in the "Weapon Pack 1" DLC under the name "Virant .22LR". It is chambered in .22 Long Rifle with a 10-round magazine and compatibility with the usual options, a reflex sight and most standard rifle scopes. Two cosmetically different variants exist in total. According to the in-game description, it was developed in Slovenia.
Mosin Nagant M1938 Carbine
A Mosin-Nagant Model 1938 Carbine was added in the "Weapon Pack 2" DLC as the "Solokhin MN1890", the model is noticably very undersized. It is chambered in 7.62x54mmR and has a capacity of 5 rounds, it is also compatible with most standard rifle scopes, and three cosmetically different variants are available in total. This rifle is reloaded differently depending on whether or not the player has fired off all five rounds; a detail not shared by most guns in-game.
M1 Garand
The M1 Garand was added in the "Smoking Barrels" DLC under the name "M1 Iwaniec", the model is very noticably undersized. It is chambered in .30-06 with an underloaded capacity of only 5 rounds as opposed to the real life counterpart's 8, it is also compatible with most standard rifle scopes and has three cosmetically different variants in total. The iconic "ping" will be heard should all five rounds be fired, but if reloaded without being emptied, it will not be heard.
Nitro Express Rifle
A Side-by-Side rifle by the name of "King 470DB" was added with the "Vurhonga Savanna" DLC map, it is acquired though the store, though it is the most expensive firearm in-game. It is chambered in .470 Nitro Express and is compatible with only a micro red dot sight, two cosmetically different variants exist in total, though one alone takes long enough to afford. It is one of the most powerful rifles in the game.
Ruger M77
The Ruger M77 was added as a part of the "Mississippi Acres Preserve" DLC map as the "Kullman .22H", it is obtained through the in-game store. Chambered in .22 Hornet, it has a capacity of 6 rounds and is compatible with most standard rifle scopes, three cosmetically different variations exist in total.
Sako 85
The Sako 85 appears as the initial rifle available to the player under the name "Ranger .243". It is chambered in .243 Winchester and has a capacity of 5 rounds, it is also compatible with a reflex sight, most standard rifle scopes and tritium sights.
Sako TRG-42
Appearing as the Tsurugi LRR .338, the Sako TRG-42 is part of the Hunter Power Pack.
Winchester Model 1866 / 1886 Hybrid
A hybrid of a Winchester Model 1866 and a Winchester Model 1886 appears as "Whitlock Model 86" and is acquired through the in-game store. It is chambered in .30-30 Winchester and has a capacity of 4 rounds, it is also compatible with only a non-standard rifle scope and tritium sights.
Winchester Model 70
The Winchester Model 70 appears in several forms.
The ".270 Huntsman" is chambered in .270 Winchester with a capacity of 4 rounds and compatibility with a reflex sight, most standard rifle scopes and tritium sights. Three cosmetically different variants exist in total, one is unique in that it features engravings and, according to the in-game description, was "unlocked by the community by players participating in the 2017 Holiday Event".
The ".300 Canning Magnum" was added in the "Yukon Valley" DLC map, it is chambered in .300 Winchester Magnum and has a capacity of 4 rounds, it is also compatible with a reflex sight and most standard rifle scopes with two cosmetically different variants existing in total. It is one of the most expensive firearms in-game.
The "Mårtensson 6.5mm" was added in the "Cuatro Colinas Game Reserve" DLC map, it is chambered in 6.5mm Creedmoor with a capacity of 5 rounds and compatibility with a reflex sight, most standard rifle scopes and tritium sights. Three cosmetically different variants exist, with one being unlocked for free after completing a series of missions on the same DLC map as the rifles was added with.
"Olsson Model 23"

Tikka T3x Super Varmint
The Tikka T3x Super Varmint appears in the game as the "Zagan Varminter .22-250", chambered in .22-250. It was added with the "Emerald Coast" DLC on June 20, 2023.
Muzzle Loading Rifles
Hawken Muzzle Loading Rifle
The Hawken Rifle was introduced in the "Smoking Barrels" DLC under the name "Hudzik .50 Caplock". It is loaded with a .50 caliber lead ball and takes roughly a minute to reload, it is compatible with only its own unique muzzleloader scope and appears in three cosmetically different forms.
Thompson Center Arms Muzzleloader
This rifle was added as a part of the "New England Mountains" DLC map under the name "Curman .50 Inline", and is unlocked for free upon purchase of said DLC. It is loaded with a .50 caliber saboted bullet and the actual process of loading is not quick as one may expect from such a rifle. It is compatible with most basic rifle scopes and only appears in one form, no other cosmetically different variations.
Air Guns
Hatsan Hercules
The Hatsan Hercules was introduced in the "Weapon Pack 3" DLC as the "Vasquez Cyclone .45". It is loaded with .45 caliber cast lead pellets and has a capacity of 7 rounds and compatibility with a reflex sight, most standard rifle scopes and tritium sights. Due to it being an air rifle, it is quieter than a regular gun, which does effect animal response times and more.
Bows & Crossbows
Classical Bows
Two variations of classical bows exist in the game so far, each with multiple cosmetic variations. These bows have no form of sights, the idea of aiming one of these is a dubious idea at best. These bows are used with either 350 grain, 540 grain or 700 grain traditional arrows, for small, medium and large game respectively. They are quieter than firearms, meaning they won't scare animals as badly.
The "Alexander Longbow" was added with the "Silver Ridge Peaks" map DLC and is described in-game as flexible but sturdy. It has a peak draw weight of 60lb.
Compound Bows
Several variations of compound bows are in the game, most having no cosmetically different variants. These bows are extremely effective when used right, they are all compatible with a range of bow sights, including one sight with laser rangefinder. They are used with either 300 grain point arrows, 420 grain broadhead arrows or 600 grain broadhead arrows for small, medium and large game respectively.
The "Razorback CB 60" is described in-game as being sleek, quiet and deadly accurate, which holds true in gameplay. It features a peak draw weight of 60lb
The "Bearclaw CB 60" was added in its own DLC of the same name as the weapon itself. It is largely the same as the Razorback with same peak draw weight, but is also described as having a pre-installed stabilizer, it is also heavier.
The "Koter CB 65" was added in the "High Tech Hunting Pack" DLC and is the only compound bow with a single cosmetically different variation. It is described in-game as being versatile and within a sweet spot between the other compound bows. It features a peak draw weight of 65lb.
The "Hawk Edge CB 70" is described as being state-of-the-art, incredibly powerful and firing arrows at unusually flat trajectories. It features a peak draw weight of 70lb.
Crossbows
