Breakheart Pass is a 1975 Western detective directed by Tom Gries and based on same name novel by Alistair MacLean (Where Eagles Dare). A US Army train with medical supplies heads through snow-covered Nevada towards plagued fort. Among its passengers are Governor Fairchild, his fiance Marica, priest, doctor and U.S. Marshal Pearce, escorting long-wanted criminal John Deakin. But not all men in the train are what they seem.
The following weapons were used in the film Breakheart Pass:

Handguns
Colt 1860 Army (Cartridge Conversion)
US Army officers Maj. Claremont (Ed Lauter), Capt. Oakland (Read Morgan) and Lt. Newell (Robert Rothwell) are armed with Colt 1860 Army revolvers with cartridge conversion. The conversion seen in the movie, looks like a early version (known as Colt Long Cylinder), leaving the old loading lever in place. During the course of events Claremont gives his revolver to John Deakin (Charles Bronson) who in turn passes the gun to Pvt. Rafferty (Scott Newman).
Single Action Army
Single Action Army revolvers are seen in hands of various characters, including John Deakin (Charles Bronson), Marshal Nathan Pearce (Ben Johnson), Governor Richard Fairchild (Richard Crenna) and bandit chief Levi Calhoun (Robert Tessier). Both "Quick-Draw" and "Artillery" models are seen.
Remington 1866 Derringer
The Remington 1866 Derringer is the personal handgun of Governor's secretary O'Brien (Charles Durning).
Rifles
Trapdoor Springfield Rifle
US Army soldiers carry Springfield Model 1873 Cavalry Carbines. Some of Paiutes are armed with full-length rifles.
Winchester Model 1892
The coffins in the train boxcar appear to be loaded with Winchester Model 1892 rifles (anachronistic for 1870s when the story is set). In the original novel the rifles are described as "brand new Winchesters, stolen from the factory"; probably Model 1873 was meant. The Winchesters from the train fall in hands of Paiutes under Chief White Hand (Eddie Little Sky). Levi Calhoun's gang also use Winchesters.
