The Road to Glory is a 1936 American movie directed by Howard Hawks. France during the early stage of World War One: Free-thinking Lt. Michel Denet is assigned to Capt. Paul La Roche's troop. Soon, he fell in love with the nurse La Roche's unaware that she is the girlfriend of his superior. Meanwhile, the war continues unceasingly.

This is the American remake of the 1932 French movie Wooden Crosses of which many fight scenes have been cut in.
