AB -46 (TKB-415) - 7.62x39mm

The AB-46 (Автомат Булкина-46; Avtomat Bulkina-46) is a Soviet experimental assault rifle (Avtomat is Russian for "assault rifle"), designed by Alexey Alexeevich Bulkin. It was one of the earliest Soviet assault rifles. The AB-46 lost in the trials against the Kalashnikov assault rifle and remained as a prototype instead of entering production.
