Unless there's some practice with them I'm not aware of that's unique to police, I can't believe no one behind the scenes ever address the flag patches on the HPD's uniforms being backwards throughout the entire series. I'm fairly sure flag patches are supposed to be worn with the stars facing forward. [[User:Spartan198|Spartan198]] ([[User talk:Spartan198|talk]]) 18:33, 22 December 2020 (EST)

: That is customary though I'm not sure every PD follows that. Some might wear them the opposite, some might wear only the one patch and dress it in a way that accurately portrays the flag which means it'll be 'backwards' from dressing the star field forward when it's worn on the one (right) shoulder. Some cop departments do uniforms quite arbitrarily indeed - I've even seen some departments wear sergeant chevrons upside down, lolz. Backwards flag patches all through the series

Unless there's some practice with them I'm not aware of that's unique to police, I can't believe no one behind the scenes ever address the flag patches on the HPD's uniforms being backwards throughout the entire series. I'm fairly sure flag patches are supposed to be worn with the stars facing forward. Spartan198 (talk) 18:33, 22 December 2020 (EST)

That is customary though I'm not sure every PD follows that. StanTheMan (talk) 22:07, 22 December 2020 (EST)
