You Are a Widow, Sir! (Czech: Pane, Vy jste vdova!) is a 1970 Czechoslovak comedy film directed by Václav Vorlícek. The ruler of a neighboring state arrives on a state visit. The incident, which results in serious injury to a rare guest, causes the second king to disband the incompetent army. However, the generals immediately conspire to assassinate the ruler. They plan to abuse Professor Somr's (Milos Kopecký) invention and transplant the brain of a mass murderer into the body of actress Evelyna Kelletiová (Iva Janzurová), the king's friend. General Otis (Cestmír Randa) commissions Major Steiner (Eduard Cupák) to carry out the entire operation. Their plans for everything are thwarted by the genius astrologer Stuart Hample (Jirí Hrzán), who secretly loves Steiner's fiancée, Molly Adamsová (Olga Schoberová). The stars tell him that he will become a double widow.
